With Heirlooms and the basically permanent Wintergrasp buff you’ll have 25% XP, I was 600+xp/hr from 70-80 with them.
How is RDF going to help you with the leveling experience?
Times have changed, the game starts at 80 and even with a 50% exp increase, it will still take a huge amount of time to get from 1-80.
Then I would at least try to go for 2-3 alts just to try out the end content with different roles and classes. That would maybe save the expac for 15 months
Oh good lord.
With heirlooms and everything, how long time does it take from 1-80? Give me a realistic answer that the average person would agree to.
I would say close to 150 hours with all the loomz.
Mr Spock is back. The guy who must have RDF because he dislikes leveling so much but is not aiming to spam dungeons with it either…
OOooh good lord.
I do agree that there is too much of a gap from lvl 69 to 70 compared to 70 to 71. U can go to Northend from lvl 68. Each quest gives about 20k xp. Imagine lvling from 68 to 70 in about an hr to 2hrs per lvl to then taking 5 hrs per lvl maybe even longer. It needs to be smooth. Why go from 720k xp needed to go lvl 69 to 70 up to 1.5m needed for 70 to 71. That’s too big of a jump… Especially considering its possible to lvl in wrath from lvl 68 to 80. That genuinely just makes lvling from 70 to 80 unbareable.
Uh, is this a typo or what? Cause 70-80 is current content at least.
150-200 hours is equal to almost 15 weeks of full clear of all the current content. This is naxx, os, voa and eoe, 10 and 25 man.
Are you chocked that people raidlog and come in every week to spend around 10-15 hours to clear all content and logout?
You need 4 weeks tops on all content to be geared as hell. What are people going to do if they can’t level alts and knowing what comes after Wotlk, who puts in the time investment for that?
Irrational if you ask me, made alot of sense 2008 however.
Either put a 50% buff for leveling from 1-70 or add RDF tool for all normal dungeons so you can just spam dungeons.
Leveling has always and will always be boring.
Or just level different chars if you want to experience endgame on different chars…
What are these threads these days
And so hath he said, but please don’t speak generally about questing.
Not sure what that’s supposed to mean. I don’t think I have encountered you yet on the forums.
I’m sorry I should have specified that it was subjective. I will always find leveling boring the way it is designed to be right now, both on retail and classic. Spamming dungeons with friends is way more fun imo.
Completely back more heirlooms to collect via in game currency. One for each slot.
Yet a lot of us did just that, several times over in the original release. Why? Because an MMORPG is about more than just end game for the majority.
Hardcore players in an MMORPG are a tiny minority of players. Always have been, always will be.
I personally had all classes maxed out by the time Cataclysm launched and had mutliple characters geared up through raids.
Clearly you don’t understand.
For the majority, an MMORPG is about the journey from 1-max level, and this being classic, it’s also about nostalgia, going through the levels, visiting zones and doing quests they may have missed out on in the past.
Conclusion: If you’re this impatient, then MMORPGs are probably not for you.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! if you want easy game for kids go back to Shadowlands
this is a oldschool harcore and I can say I didnt enjoy my exping like now since original wotlk
THATS WHAT A GAME WAS BEFORE THEY RUIN IT
I struggle not to get to lvl 80 lol.
So many quests to do and not to mention AV can do 2lvls per day.
I guess going to retail might be good idea
for you.
Honestly I think you are the minority. If it wasn’t for WoW endgame you would be one of the few paying for this game.
If it’s all the same to you, why don’t you go and play elder scrolls or single player game instead?
Ok, do you speak english?
Maybe you should go back to shadowlands kiddo if you find questing hardcore…
I was playing this game back in 2004 when you were sucking on something mate, lvling yet another char is not hardcore, it’s just pure boring and painful.
Kill 10 of this, kill 20 of that… More Borecore than hardcore
This part made me smile. It has navy seal copypasta vibes
It’s pretty clear that I do, not sure what that has to do with the quote you made of me.
This was addressed to the other guy, but Elder Scrolls or say 99% of all offline RPG games don’t feel “alive”. MMORPGs feel alive with real players playing it.
I hope you know that person wasn’t playing the game then. Levelling yet another character may be boring and painful to you, but others enjoy levelling alts.
Great, what I am suggesting does not affect this person. They can buff the heirlooms so you get 50% increased exp.
This means that the first character you play is normal exp, leveling an alt is however alot faster. This also creates the incentive to run HC in order to buy heirlooms.
People that really enjoy the normal pace don’t have to equip the heirlooms at all, matter of fact, they can go full hardcore and try to go from lvl 1-80 on a naked character to make it really exciting…
