Seems that for 30 minutes , people that finished a normal or heroic island got rewarded a ridiculous amount of AP ( 50k instead of 225 ap )
i wonder iff this will be rolled back? loads of people and famous streamers farmed loads of ap by doing this. while other people that always grinded ap on the correct way are now below people that just did 2 heroic islands…
I normally dont care about what other people get but in this case it completely inflates the effort i put in over the last month(s). People that slacked are now at the same level as me. Kinda bs
I don’t think they should just roll back the AP, I think the people who actively farmed it should also receive a 3 day to a week ban.
Every time bugs like this happen, there are those who actively farm it, and they never get punished for it. It just get’s reverted back to how it should have been. Blizzard need to put their foot down with it and start banning people (Even if it’s short bans) for doing it.
Whilst I don’t disagree with what you are saying here, there could be legitimately innocent folks caught up in such a ban.
There are those who genuinely don’t really keep up to date with what’s going on in the game, or new patches. They play extremely casually and may just play IE’s to pass the time or for fun, and in particular such a ban would also affect this type of player as they unintentionally would have “farmed” AP too.
Those who blatantly exploit the system, of course, I’d agree with it not just being rolled back but also a short ban. Disquishing those who deserve a ban and those who don’t, would be pretty much impossible on this level.
If someone done it once ok if someone done it once and sees that it is bugged and still done another IE should by banned for exploiting bug.
