We have made further improvements to nameplate stacking that is now live on Beta. These changes should prevent nameplates from going below the unit they are attached to, and they should no longer shuffle positions in the stack as often.
We are aware of another issue where units in separate packs will sometimes have their nameplates overlap, and will be addressing this soon.
It’s definitely better than it was previously. As a dot class though, this is still a very rough place to be:
Most angles are okay, but sometimes there’s still stacking that happens like shown there.
This is without addons, on the Silvermoon dummies. Which I assume is 1 pack, and not multiple, like the blue post says might still need work. If these ARE multiple packs, then my bad.
I like the direction, so keep up the good work!
EDIT: tried to post this several times with a screenshot uploaded to imgur to show what I saw in game, but apparently that is not allowed. TL;DR: the name plates still overlap quite badly at certain angles.
