I’m surprised they still haven’t fixed it. Dawn of the Infinite dropping 493 items was fixed immediately.
They could at least have disabled the quest while they sort this out.
The quest gives raid gear so if it’s something from one of the last bosses it will have higher ilvl.
Tested on both my priest and my monk and both got 493 ilvl - so it has been fixed.

Unlucky. Maybe because that piece is not actually gear. Have you tried checking the vendor for updated tierpieces with increased Ilvl?

Got 502 ilvl trinket. Sadly not good.
That only really works for game that share the same client/resets etc.
We are essentially two different regions.
the vendor you hand them into are not taking them in
