My question is the following: Why?
Would really help if you mention what ability you’re talking about.
But seeing as you’re a monk. I’m guessing it might be Brewmaster Fortifying brew. That one is reduced by abilities that reduce the cooldown of other brews too. So it’s not really that long.
Some of the CD in this game are terribly long.
Like the Drac’thyr’s flight spell, I believe it’s called soar.
It’s 4 minutes cool down.
Plus the flight isn’t even long, I always fall
Brewamster?
The spell is on the core Monk tree, it’s for all specs.
For non-brewmasters, this isn’t true.
You must invested an additional talent point to reduce its CD, and even then, it’s still 4 minutes long for that lame 15% wall.
It should be 3 minutes baseline without needing to waste another talent point in it, this is absolutely ridiculous that such a weak cooldown takes so long to recharge.
It’s not even usable while stunned.
Right, had to actually check.
It’s a 15% health bonus and 20% dmg reduction for 15 seconds. 6 Minute cooldown baseline, 4 minutes with a talent, alternative talent makes it give 25% armor and 25% dodge too.
Cooldown might be a whee bit too long, sure. But saying it’s a 15% wall on 6 min is overdoing it a bit. Consider you can also get Dampen Harm or Diffuse magic instead as a monk.
Probably should take it to the monk forum.
because monks have 3 walls one of themn being a 60% magic damage wall.
monks are BROKEN in the defensive department.
What’s a wall in your context?
Where I’ll get a grand total of 2 replies in 3 months? Yeah, no, I’ll pass.
No they’re not?
Windwalkers are the #1 target every game. People burst through karma and Fort brew.
They’re the weakest melee, defensively speaking, next to Enhancement shamans.
im talking about the main feature of wow. pve.
in m+ monks are broken because of their defensives and ofc dmg.
There are obvious solutions to this that don’t require Fort brew to have a 6 minute CD.
An obvious one is to have Dampen Harm and Diffuse Magic on the same node, so we can only pick one of the two.
Then give Fort brew a reasonable CD.
