6 Shadow Priest changes to make the class good

  • 1: Talent Unfurling Darkness : Change it’s current status so that Every 15 sec, next Vampiric Touch is instant cast and does [x?] shadow damage to the target.
  • 2: Talent Shadow Crash : Increase it’s damage by +855%. Cooldown 20 sec.
  • 3: Talent Idol of N’Zoth : Increase it’s collapse damage by +350%.
  • 4: Shadow Word: Pain : Increase it’s DOT damage by +150% that deals DOT damage over 21 sec.
  • 5: Talent Distorted Reality : Change it to → “Increase the damage of Devouring plague initial damage by 30% and increase it’s duration to 12 sec.” meaning, DOT dmg also increases. Current 6s to 12s thus 100% increase on DOT dmg.
  • 6: Talent Psychic Link : Change it to
"Your damaging ability have 25% chance to increase your Mind Flay’s damage by 50% and hit 5 additional target and channel 50% faster.
DOT damage from Shadow Word: Pain & Vamparic Touch doesn’t count"

So you want to get rid of the only AoE thing the spec has and in it’s place get a chance for AoE?

Just bring back Mind Seer, make Shadow crash 10 seconds cd, uncapped for DoTs and does no dmg, give as 2 charges of 0.5 sec cast Door of Shadows and a dispel that works for everything cause the class is called Priest.

What do you mean no AOE.

  • +350% increase in damage of Idol of N’Zoth
  • +855% increase in damage in Shadow Crash
  • 25% chance to hit hard to +5 enemies with enhanced mind flay. Even if the SW:P & Vamp’s DOT don’t count, rest of the abilities do count. Even the normal Mind Flay.
  • DOT dmg increase of Shadow Word pain by +150%

A very good & reliable AOE potential & abit burst start as well so that we wouldn’t need to wait for all damage to ramp up over time.

I think right now SP is such a poor Class when it comes to the Arena Stage. We have 0 % Pressure and cant sustain anything from a Melee Class. It kind of ridiculous that its this way. What is Blizzard doing about it
