Basically I had been given a gift code during christmas for 60 days game time. I claimed the code all fine up until yesterday but today my account shows as if I never added those 60 days, and my time expires in 4 days?
I tried to re-apply the code and it says it has already been claimed. Can you take a look on this?
They cannot do this unless it’s through a ticket but it is usually caused by the code being supplied by someone who either uses a stolen card or does a chargeback.

Oh wow… it was a gift code from my sister and her boyfriend for christmas.
Website was Eneba. But yeah I did open a ticket aswell. I only hope they can answer before my time expires at least.
Actually I checked my email you are right, it was a chargeback.
I think whoever sold it on Eneba did a chargeback after your sister bought it.
There is Blizzard they can do about it, sorry.
The only sure way is if your sister got it from Blizzard directly.

Thanks Dottie. I’ll copy paste the first paragraph here of the email just for some clarity
"A chargeback occurs when a payment made for goods or services is recalled by the financial institution at the cardholder’s request after the payment is taken by the retailer. This means the retailer has provided a service which has not been paid for. "
The way I understand the wording would imply that my sister’s boyfriend who bought the code did ask the bank for a chargeback?
No, The place they bought it from is more likely a scam website. The company bought the code offcially then sent your sibling it and did a charge back themselves(the actual website). You should buy gametime from Blizzard only to avoid this type of stuff.
It is unlikely your sister’s boyfriend had anything to do with it. More likely case is that whoever was selling the code on the site you mentioned did the chargeback, or in case the card used was stolen the real card owner did that to all unauthorized charges. As a result Blizzard revoked the code.
The site looks, smells and acts like any other grey-market site like G2A etc. Use at your own risk and be prepared for revoked keys even after long time.
Well that kind of sucks. He said that, he has been buying stuff from there for years without issues…
Of course it would happen with me. Anyways, I don’t really need the time to be fair as I use wow tokens but still kind of sucks we both get scammed like this. Especially during new year lmao.
Do the website actually sell it or is it a marketplace where others sell their stuff on it, a bit like eBay, but with game codes and game time?
Not gonna lie to you. I have no idea. Never heard of that website myself before. But looking at the website, apparently it’s other “retailers or companies” that sell it within their website.
Get them to contact the website and tell them what happened. I doubt you will get it fixed but might as well try. You might get the seller banned from the website and stop them from scamming anymore people.
Yeah of course, already sent my sister’s boyfriend (who got the code himself) Blizzard’s email as proof at least.
No idea if it’s gonna help him or not, but better than nothing I guess.
