60% of end game is just waiting

thats because the game relies on other people to show up.

if you want zero waiting you can play solo games i guess.

Doubtful. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

You have very low itlv and quite low score. That’s the issue why you experience long wait times.

Plus letscbe more honestvhere - how many rqualy lowcgeared / scored people you reject while waiting

Which is exactly why dvelves are mad popular and why we get visions this patch .

We are liekly 1 max 2 expansions away from being able to use ai teams for m+ and raiding too

im glad that some people enjoy delves.

i think i have done 10 delves total after the first week of season 1.

Let’s be serious Delves are popular because they are easy and give decent loot.

People want what they can’t have and once they have it they realise it isn’t actually that great. So they want something new.

It’s like little kids always wanting a new toy. They cry, are given it and they cry for the next toy. That happens enough and they are still a crybaby decades later.

So you may be right regarding M+ and Raid single player mode.

Pretty much this, but I wouldn’t say can’t have.

It’s not like someone’s physically preventing them from becoming appealing to any prospective mythic+ pug or mythic raid team through gradually acquired experience or evidence of performance.

Based on stuff I’ve read people say there is perhaps some kind of psychological block stopping people getting in the keys.

The only way to get rid of key fear is to do keys though.

Maybe people just want to have fun and action instead of chores and gated content. We play this game for fun and in our sparetime. I have enough chores outside game

You play an MMO. That’s what it’s all about, being dependent on other players. PvP isn’t that popular, and if it is, people prefer to play 2v2 or 3v3 with friends. M+ isn’t that popular with randoms, because if you have to listen every time that it’s not the meta path, that you should do this and that, that you’re hopeless and it would be best if you deleted the game, then honestly you’d rather gather a group of regular people for M+, do what you need to do during the week and have some free time. Raid? It’s not worth playing with randoms, because often even on heroic raids people don’t know the tactics and without communication it makes little sense. People prefer to join a regular group and then you don’t have to wait. You have an appointment for a certain day and that’s it. You do achievements on other days or start another game altogether.

Then hello kitty games will be perfect for u :smiley_cat:

Might add people rq in key’s for no reason even when you can time it no problem.

some people here should read this multiple times for reall.
yesterday i was talking to one of my friends and he was saying the same.
everyone goes for classic in 2025 . imagine how bad war within was

I agree that the long waiting is true. One of the reasons I started to tank  But the real problem behind the long queue still questionable.

For me the following things may apply:

  • Toxic community: I can’t count how many times I saw bad behavior in the game :pensive: After you get exposed to it, you want to avoid people . It is everywhere, really everywhere!!!

  • Delves: Yes, it is good! I’m doing a lot with my alts. However, the same way it saved the expansion for me and some people, it also created problems for dgs/raids, etc. More solo content > long queue :frowning:

  • Old Open World: Besides the current expansion everything else is useless. The world is pretty dead!! So not too much to do, sit and queue for some instance content

  • Open World Events: Even well-known events like Darkmoon faire, is EMPTY today. Before it had a toon of people trying to kill the boss for loot! So, no good loot, go for some raid/m+ > queue!

  • Professions: what is the point of leveling a profession today? Materials are more expansive than the final craft  Again not much motivation to do this content, go back to the queue :sob:

a system built on distraction. If you can find a way, class changes are coming.

And is there? The fact that there are a lot of windows from which you can choose where you want to join doesn’t mean that firstly, you’ll get an invite (especially after the last Archon tooltip), secondly, it doesn’t mean that you’ll have a pleasant experience, because you’ll be insulted left and right where in the end you’ll only do a few M+ and forget about it.

And when you compare it to all the groups of friends who do M+ from week to week, the percentage of people who get together completely randomly is really not that big.

I’m talking about basic LFR and random dungeon queues. Im not talking about high keys or elite content…and that doesn’t even make sense what you said about my ilvl or score. There should be thousands of players around the same level as me.

You shouldn’t have to play world of waiting just to level a toon through dungeons. It used to be totally doable. Unless you roll a tank or healer now, forget it, the wait times make it completely inefficient.

I don’t buy the whole “there’s just not enough tanks or healers” argument. I think the issue runs deeper. the system feels broken. It’s not forming groups efficiently. There are players out there but they’re not getting slotted in properly. Something behind the scenes is failing to sync the queues right.

havent got insulted once in all these years :dracthyr_shrug: my pug experience in all these years is very pleasant.
