Beta Update Maintenance - Evening of 1 October

This evening CEST, we will take the WoW Forever Beta offline for maintenance. A few hours later, (early in the morning of October 2), the Beta will resume with an updated build that includes changes and fixes, with the level cap raised to 30.

We’ll have all the details here tomorrow.

Can we not just give us a window. Early evening to early morning is NOT just a “few hours”! … I appreciate that once the maintenance has begun the end might be a variable … but you could at least give us some indication of when you are going to go to server maintenance … this happens in the launcher for retail and classic etc …

a suggestion for the patch. wipe the beta, and start fresh. it will give another go at the "overcrowding / stresstest. and then you wont have a bunch of level 20s that have spend the last week just gearing up to a point where they are unable to give propper feedback. simply because they are too strong compared to the content.

its a beta. its time for testing. and everything is wiped at the end anyway.

I didn’t see it in the patch notes, I’ll log in and have a look again tomorrow. Besides Elwynn, are there any other places that are particularly noticable?

I like the idea of that!

What’s wrong with them giving us an actual time

It’s all very cryptic for some reason.

Only for Elwynn Forest

thats just because they cant say it it will be 10am or 11am in their working hours. same goes for when everything is up again.

if they wanted to shut down the beta every day for a patch, they could do so. and it would be in their working hours

We think we’ll take the Beta offline in about 45 minutes.

See you on the other side!

Confused EU noises.

I know you are an USA based Company but would it hurt to update posts to better align with your other costumers as well? :mending_heart:
