Beta Realm Maintenance - 8 October

Starting in one hour at 18:00 CEST, we will take the WoW Forever Beta down for maintenance and updates. We’re starting a bit earlier today than we have on previous Thursdays, because we’ve gathered up several fixes for behind-the-scenes, non-gameplay issues that we’re going to deploy and then test internally, in addition to a full suite of bug fixes and gameplay adjustments.

If this was a live game, we’d post in the Breaking News banner that we expect to bring realms back online by Midnight, 00:00 CEST.

We’ll have a full update of our Development Notes and Known Issues posts later today.

Thank you kaivax. Please reconsider adding back the weather effects if you can. Those were amazing, or at least if it’s possible to add a toggle or slider so we can choose the intensity. We’d love to have the downpours that we had a week ago and those inside raining sounds as well

Can’t wait for EU to be free from this curse of being tied to the US. I just got home from work and had about 10 minutes of gametime before a 6 hour-long shutdown…

thank you for the update want to confirm despite some minor bugs the game is great and love it, any idea on when FPS issues will be addressed?

Where are people getting 6hrs from? 0:00 CEST is 8hrs since shutdown :stuck_out_tongue:

I was going by the OP, 18:00-00:00 is 6 hours. Did it go down two hours early?

It’s annoying, but it’s one evening for what, 5 weeks during the beta? It’s not that big of a deal.

No it didn’t. It went down at 18:00 CET. Back at midnight means 6 hours. Some people just can’t do maths.

No it’s my dumb maths gone wrong… couldn’t tell that I have a degree in maths and computing lol

For some reason I thought it was 8 hrs between 6pm and midnight… I need a sleep lol

hahaha jup… I understand why we’re all on one server right now but the in game day night cycle throws me off so hard XD. And it sucks because Thursday nights are my game nights XD
