Hi everyone,

Quick Fish is not your average fishing addon. Built for WoW Forever, it’s modular: keep it as a simple “double-click and fish” helper, or turn on everything for a complete fishing dashboard. Version 0.7.0 is out, and the addon is updated frequently.

:fishing_pole: Fishing

  • Double-right-click water to cast and hook
  • One key or a controller button to cast and hook
  • Best lure applied and refreshed automatically
  • Lures bought at vendors to keep a stock
  • Pole (or your full fishing set) goes on with a double-click
  • Your normal gear back with one gesture
  • Both weapons on instantly when attacked, pole back after the fight
  • Weapons back when you mount
  • Louder splash, music muted, auto-loot while fishing
  • Brighter pools while fishing
  • Cast only over pools (optional)
  • Drinks Captain Rumsey’s Lager, opens clams and crates
  • Loot protection: no casting over your open loot

  • Skill against the zone, coloured red / yellow / green
  • Casts to the next skill point
  • Lure timer, or the lures in your bags
  • Catches here and missing fish of the zone
  • Fish that bite right now
  • Catch value and gold per hour
  • Session goal, next milestone, current pool
  • Cast bar with the bite window
  • Catch recap card
  • Drag parts into any order on screen
  • Text sizes, width, scale, background, 8 colour themes
  • Hide in combat (optional)

  • Zones tinted by your skill
  • Skill ranges as labels
  • Zone panel with fish and chances by day and night
  • Your pool spots pinned on the map

:bell: Alerts

  • Lure running out
  • Bags nearly full
  • Skill too low for the zone
  • Bobber out of reach
  • No bite
  • Enemy player nearby (optional pause)
  • Toast, centre text or off, with your own sounds

:trophy: Progress

  • Collection: caught and missing fish, with zones
  • 35 milestones per character
  • Session goals and session summary
  • Fishing guide 1-300
  • Best spots by gold or fish per cast
  • History of days and sessions
  • Guild comparison

:cooking: Cooking

  • Recipe tooltips: known or not
  • Vendor tooltips: recipes you don’t know yet
  • Missing recipes with where to buy them

:gear: Setup

  • Choose Apprentice, Journeyman, Artisan, or Custom
  • 14 features you can switch on or off
  • Setup wizard with HUD arrangement and alert preview
  • Search box for every option
  • Settings export and import
  • Daily backup

Every cast and hook is still your own click or key press. Quick Fish never fishes for you.

Works well with Auctionator and Forever Achievements Tracker.
