Got rid of the "Screen Captured" text

Every time you take a screenshot the game drops a big yellow “Screen Captured” right in the middle of your screen. Got tired of it and made a small addon that removes it.

Forever Quiet Screenshots
Removes the “Screen Captured” message, and that’s all it does. Screenshots still save as usual, and if one fails the game still tells you.

Nothing to set up. It’s 12 lines of code and open source, so you can see there’s nothing else in it.

On CurseForge: search for “Forever Quiet Screenshots” or go to curseforge.com/wow/addons/forever-quiet-screenshots

That text also annoyed me a bit, I’m glad that we get more functional addons like this that improve quality of life.

I like it as it confirms that pressing the button to take a picture actually did something, but an in-game option to disable it would be nice for snapping a quick series of shots.

Escape > Options > Top right search bar type “Screen shot”

Right click the 2 Bars that show as “Print Screen” to unbind it.

Job Done

Assuming your computer does it for you like, mine does it without the game doing it

I like that bind though.
