Any player with a WoW account is eligible to play the WoW Forever Stress Test. No active subscription is needed.
How to Join
Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
Open the Battle.net desktop app and allow it to update if needed.
Select World of Warcraft from the list of games.
In the Game Version menu above the Play button, select World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test under In Development, then select Install.
Once installation is complete and the Stress Test begins, select Play and choose an available test realm.
Create a new test character when available, enter the game, and join the test.
When we shut down the Stress Test, all Stress Test characters, including names, will be deleted and we will re-open the Beta.
We plan to close the WoW Forever Beta … forever at 19:00 CEST on Friday, October 23.
Thank you very much for joining us. We’ll see you there!

The CEST/BST start times seem incorrect - they are 4 hours earlier than the start times in other time zones.
They are either wrong or us EU players are getting an earlier 8 hour stress test
If they don’t do that, the EU test would be starting just before midnight, so they wouldn’t get many on the test, compared to opening it up in the early evening.

They seem to be correct and consistent with previous announcement - the EU stress test is starting 4 hours before the rest of the world.
Looks like they’re doing 2 stress tests - perhaps first in the EU, then they’ll apply some fixes and do another stress test in other regions.
Nice! Thanks for the extention! I have a chance to get to Turbo Chicken on my High Order Druid after all!

Stress Test was briefly up up till the ‘‘choose ruleset’’ page ( all 3 options disabled) and now servers are offline again.
EDIT: Up again, but like before all 3 options for rulesets disabled.

For me the Play Bottun in the Launcher is disabled “This game cannot be played yet.”
EDIT: Nevermind. There is a extra Client Version called Stresstest. Still no Servers are currently available. (19:32)
I can’t select it either!
Why isn’t Blizzard responding??? So annoying.
Yeah I have the same thing.
If you don’t turn anything on, you won’t have to delete any data later! Great strategy
You really shouldn’t tell anyone that you’ve been in business for over 20 years. Basically, I can live with it and it’s not a big deal to me, but it’s still quite frustrating.
