How does one get this item, is it even possible anymore?

They come from Stromgarde Battlefront, which I’m not 100% if they’re soloable yet or not.
Do you know it’s the normal or heroic version? Or Quest related?
There is no difference.
Only difference is the item level.
Well, I would do it in Heroic, because then you can finish both the Heroic and Normal quest, and thus have a double chance for the item.

For the normal mode, I’m pretty sure you still need to queue up and wait for players. There is no solo option like for Island Expeditions. Not completely sure about the Heroic version though.
What you linked is the tier 3 version of the armor, which, from what I read, only drops once per warfront from the “complete warfront quest” you get.
I see, I will wait for the warfront to open then, and do it on all my leather characters.
Could be, I thought they were gonna add solo queue? Or maybe I remember it wrong…
Okay, I found it. You can queue it with 5 people, and it’ll be enough now.
I imagine they will at some point, maybe next expansion.

You can queue for it with 5 people (and get in, I believe), so see if someone can join you.
Keep in mind that the “one time piece per warfront” does not take into consideration if you have the piece that dropped for an alt or not. Each piece will drop, the RNG being only which piece drops for your character, but that happens to each character individually.
So if one of your character gets the belt and the shoulders from the warfront, your other leather wearers can still get the shoulders and belt because that specific character didn’t get that drop yet.
Yeah, it’s a real pain in the a**, pure RNG. But I feel like many times the sets are worth it.
