Since I faction changed this patch to Alliance and then back my character’s quests were completely reset and cant be completed.
As a disclaimer I had done numerous faction changes on this character in 8.0 and there were a handful of quests that reset: The zone-ending Dungeon quests and some outliers such as the Dark Iron Allied Race unlock one. Naturally when I initially changed from Alliance to Horde I had to do all Horde-specific quests too, but once those were cleared the quests remained completed.
Now I have a quest log almost full with quests, both zone-specific and War Campaign ones, which can’t be completed because the NPCs are phased out, uninteractable or missing, ontop of other quests which can’t even be started due to the same issue.
I opened a ticket about this but the GMs keep telling me its a working as intended scenario when I have 30+ quests which are impossible to complete or start. Is there something that can be done?

An update
Ive had a GM look into this and was able to complete the war campaign quests. However, the rest (which is 20+ quests in my log and god knows how many on Zandalar / KT) remain untouched as individually completing them can break the character beyond repair. Hence the issue was escalated and another team will assist with setting my character straight.
An awesome and frankly great Gamemaster can make my day honestly. They advised that in this case a bug report would be the best option while my ticket is being handled. Id suggest others do the same who face this problem in order to have it addressed before more folk, who swap between factions regularly with Faction Changes, run into this painful experience.
