Where do you even see how long itās going to be? I see nothing about maintenance or downtime on the client or ingame.

On the launcher
Nope. The usual yellow notification bar just isnāt there for me.
So, I just tried the access and saw the realms are down on EU side. Where did you read about an 8-hour, maintenance? I cannot see anything on my launcher that looks remotely related. Also, if the maintenance is 8 hours, are we supposed to be back playing at 11-ish or 13-ish? (I played ātil 2 am this morning and server was supposed to shut down at 5 am, at least thatās what the message given by the reset timer)
Think itās there for most its 11am europe time anyways
iirc it went down 5 hours 15 minutes ago.
Log out and back in into your BattleNet-Client and check if the US Region is selected by any chance.
Thatās probably why you donāt see the Maintenance-Notice, had that happen in the past too.

Right you are. I had it set to English (US), which I didnāt think would put me in a different region.

You may check the serversā statuses here Realm Status - Europe - World of Warcraft (or choose US). It seems that currently no servers are available. The reason is maybe that things ran against the plan. Letās check offline life for new experience

After the number of players worldwide reached 10,000, Metzen laid off many employees, leaving only one person to upload the new patch and fix bugs. Therefore, it will take a long time.
