New update in game no cost for transmog?

i transmoged part of my set before noon and it cost me some gold.

just recently i transmogged again and it cost nothing. is it a bug or a new silent update?

has been on for 2 days but only got it for free today

Suggestion: Transmogrifying a starting gear (e.g. from an allied race or a boost) should always be free.

I mogged my brand-new black skinned Zandalari Paladin yesterday for free. His armor and weapon looked Draenai. Now he has bronze armor, no breast plate and a scimitar, until I unlock the heritage armor or similar pieces.
