8.3 last patch in Bfa?

I am curious about 8.3 are we not getting any more patches now until pre-Shadowlands patch? are we stuck with 8.3 for 7-8 months now? I am curious not going to be toxic about this patch I got my opinions xD coughs but just very curious O_O cause I just don’t see myself playing 8.3 for that long.

8.3.5 got canceled and 8.3 here for “around a year” And you don’t have to play WoW constantly. Pre-expansion drought is perfect to get some break from the game.

“that long”? People already forgot MoP SoO lasted almost a year?

If you mean more major patch, no. Maybe an 8.3.5 while waiting for pre patch,

Yeah but MoP was actually pretty decent.

I think it will be longer than 7-8 months.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don’t actually mind a content drought. It’s a good opportunity to scale one’s WoW time back without “falling behind” or even to take a break for a while.

Sorry but I have extraordinary memory compared to most people (or so it seems from the forum messages).

and it was not pretty decent, it was average at best.

I remember very well dailies, farming frogs, incredible class imbalance, nothing much to do unless you raided.
There was also good parts of it but they did not last long like challenge modes.

I still remember most, even smallest details like how was I jumping on pipe on heroic siegecrafter blackfuse as hunter because it was broken. Like we used warlock portal to skip all that trash thru invisible walls, or where textures were broken so blinking as mage would let you drop to core of azeroth.

So no, 5.4 was incredibly long and boring patch while I am sure I will be enjoying 8.3 for far longer.

They will be timegating us for months so you will feel the need to play~ this precious cloak willnot upgrade itself

Yeah like pretty much any expansion unless you consider the X.3.5 patches to be content (bit of story and some system tweaks at best)

Seems that way. And I prefer them taking their time to make sure the game will be good. If you get bored just take a break

Weird flex, but okay.

You missed the part where PvP was in a good place and it was also very alt friendly.

That is also invalid because what was good for you was not good for other people, yes there were a lot of complaints about pvp: having to wear separate pvp gear and being destroyed by people who already has it but you did not.

Also massive class imbalance was also present on pvp like bm hunters deleting people accounts on arenas while using one button - it lasted pretty long.

And generally broken burst damage that killed people in 2 GCDs.

That’s the whole point of gearing. Have you not seen the outcry from PvP players asking for their vendors back for the last 2 expansions?

Class imbalance wasn’t as bad as you make it in PvP. Sure BM hunter was powerful but it was in no way deleting people with one button. The only people who died to kill command and nothing else were those who pillar hugged a whole game while ignoring the pet.

The last patches always last about a year. It sucks, but it is what it is. Go play other games. Monster Hunter World-Iceborne is awesome.
