9.1 is going to be fun

Yes, we know. More Maw, more Torghast, million dailies in Korthia. Absolute lack of meaningful storyline.

Replying to the Twitter screenshot of a dev post: Oh, poor thing. You care about m+, I’ll give you that. But about nothing else! Cry somewhere else!

No idea what you’re on about.

I couldn’t care less about M+. I think it’s an outrageously boring system. It’s just the same friggin’ dungeon hundreds and hundreds of times scaled to offset the fact that I’m growing stronger.

I mean look at my friggin’ profile. Last expansion I did quite a bit of M+ but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it any more.

The forum didn’t let me quote the screenshot. I replied to the devs post. I added an explanation in my post too

It is only a problem in the optional master mode where things have way too much HP. Especially during the trial of the sword.
Personally I get emotionally attached to some items and hate seeing them break. But I get your point.

Excellent news. I might take a look once I manage to watch a playthrough of the previous games. I still have a lot of issues comprehending the second edition of D&D as a 5th edition player.

I do not mind the devs having a vision, I want them to be able to realize those visions instead of managing to do more harm than good (with the covenants and torgast being a case example for me)

I reeeeeeeeally want the devs to succeed in making a great experience. But for that to happen they need to think more like players and what players enjoy doing and less like “Ze artizte who iz painting zheir Mazterpieze” as if it was not a creation that people interact with instead of just looking at.

So, victim card play then? I mean, I do see their POV.

Game developers implement what they are told to. It’s the higher ups who ultimately choose how things will shake out and instruct the devs on what to create plus implement.

it musn’t be fun having to create things knowing that they are designed to be counter productive to the player base.

First off as i already commented about that youtube video of your company:

As for the rest of your (just replace your with Blizzard given youre just a mod in all of this) guide: No clarification as to how to enable hard mode for the mega dungeon. And unlike Karazhan and especially Mechagon this isnt as blatantly obvious. If this was a move to have another “secret” then sure, however its uncalled for given previous mega dungeons.

Key rating: It states based on affixes. We know this is aimed at Tyrannical and Fortified. However the phrasing makes it sound like its the entire affix on a key present that determine the rating you receive. This is misleading and lacks clarification. If it is idd based on ALL affixes present on a key than then whle the guide is correct the system is even more trash than i had first anticipated.

And as far as i can see (so that might have slipped my eyes) no show of maps inside the dungeons as to where the new affix bosses spawn as so people could already plan their routes ahead outside of relying on third party sources.

Also no information telling people that one doesnt need a 15 fortified and 15 tyrannical for KSM but that they could get away with doing a higher fortified and then slack on a tyrannical somewhere else. Unless you removed that as a last change (if yes = /facepalm)

No clarification as to how to get the crystals needed for the legendary upgrades. The following is stated “that can be accessed by uncovering the secrets of Korthia” rather than saying rare mobs, treasure chests etc etc njada njada. Thats not a survival guide.

Also no clarification as to how the Torghast rating is calculated. Just that its there and that one gets rewarded for being “efficient”. Not a guide, but a preview. No view of the Torghast blessings or torments.

Ye sorry im afraid third party websites and community discords still do a heavily better job than Blizzard does in this regard. By a large margain. Just call it a preview rather than an actual guide. And theres probably more that would come to mind the more i think about it.

Well they are not writing icy-veins guides where they explain step by step on what button to press on what scenario and etc. The guide is enough to get you started in the right direction.

Its not supposed to be a manual to explain absolutely every button in 9.1. Allow some player exploring as well^^^

Then its not a survival guide but a preview / preview trailer. Also eveyone is free to check a survival guide and be prepared to the fullest or ignore and explore themself.

Bitter about a patch ? This is nothing compared to the entire duration of BFA imho

People are apathic, it’s a far cry from the outrage generated by BFA two years ago

That’s until they learn what Shards of Domination really is. Other than recrafting your legendary if you’re unlucky.
It’s the worst system they have ever added to WoW. Above everything BFA barfed up.
