Yes, its painfull to wait 9 months till August. I think it will be dust in the may on retail.

Lets be honest, who actually believed them saying that? Especially with the state the world is currently in. Its wishful thinking.

Eh, well, they said the first major content patch. I don’t think anyone would have attached 9 months to that promise
So not sure if it was wishful thinking, more like a decent expectation.

Major content includes a new raid. So you have to keep current tier in mind as well. As i said not even 500 guilds have cleared it. Thats far from what is the norm. Crucible not counted. And their release time was already very bad which takes its toll as well since well christmas and new years. August is stretching it however and nothing more but a prediction.

Ye that too was predicted as it makes sense if 9.1 development is slowed down.

Because there is no word from Blizzard at the moment so people are expecting the worst. Nothing unusual. The prediction may be correct or it might not be.

it’s been obvious since 8.3 they’re understaffed. Somehow I don’t think all those fired employees were all in the marketing department like they claim.

They can always try to look generous and say "As an apology for the delays we will patch Pathfinder into the game and it will require only Renown 40 since being able to fly in a zone or not is just the flip of a switch.

This is wishful thinking of course. Not about what they will chose to do but what they could do.

You have to be joking at this point.

Covid is not an issue for this industry. Aside from setting up initial environment - thats why SL was delayed. But now no.

9.1 is delayed because of TBC nad because of emergency 9.0.5

Having a content drought at the beginning of an expansion instead of the end feels really weird, wonder if it’ll be another 2-patch expansion
