I know I know. I complain a lot about the bugs but outside of them I am enjoying the expansion a lot. Especially the open world. For 1st time since Legion I find the expansion to be good. I finally don’t feel pressure from borrowed power systems, it is so easy to start with my alts and I finally started doing more instanced PvP than I ever did in BFA/SL because of the gear changes. I am playing more in War mode too and in the end I found a way to tolerate the Grand Hunt event.
Whoever post this in Spite’s account it’s not funny!
But i’m glad you like it and we are just started i believe it’s gonna be a good expansion.
I actually think I felt emotion yesterday when I helped two tuskarr kids feed a hungry, dim gnoll kid after their parents said it was dangerous. When that little gnoll wobbled after them toward the village, I swear I didn’t feel as dead inside for a minute. Weird. Because playing through this Xpack’s story is how I ended up dead inside in the first place.
‘Feesh!! Yummy Feesh!!’ pretty sure that gnoll baby was inspired by Gollum from The Hobbit
yup, Im on the positivity train this expansion too.
Just loving the open world feels so alive and engaging and yet I dont feel pressured to do anything in it, just chill out and enjoy things.
Also a massive fan of the quests, they are so well written. Im somebody who if they arent playing DF then Im reading something and Ive found the stories really great.
yes, there are bugs but Blizzard seem to be more transparent about the game and what is and isnt working so Im willing to give them a break this time!
I’m really enjoying the expansion so far.
It’s not perfect ofc but no expansion ever will be.
The lack of chores has been a refreshing change, I have not liked that particular model since it was introduced with Legion.
Agree 100% - I’ve been moaning about the bugs, but am enjoying the expack otherwise and also really like the new PvP gearing system.
It is! I don’t feel any weaker if I only do a few keys each week on main, so I’m sort of safe to play Classic and simply take the advantage of vault. Gonna do KSM towards the end of S1 when it’s easier (because of all the nerfs and the players including myself being stronger, give or take), I’ll probably easily find a group anyways as a healer.
I don’t even bother with world content because… the gear I passively earn anyways will be simply better, and my main only has gatherer profs. So any buffs I might get from them are niche as is.
The title bug was quite nasty as was the Azure Span zonelag - not sure about the others, might have not seen them even.
I’m not an altoholic but levelling is a fantastic pace for DF, friends have several and can do content on them. Then they can get into end game content pretty quick. It’s actually a friendly fun expansion.
I did move my profession alts to Valdrakken after someone suggested they could just stick work orders on for my main. I kind of dismissed it at the time but then realised it was genius suggestion. I doubt I’ll level them any time soon though.
This. It opens up the need to want to log in everyday.
You think about what to do, rather than what you need to work to do.
And it gives me time to level some alts as well.
And I think the change in atmosphere from doom and metal gloom, to something refreshing and Azeroth based is always a plus.
This expansion I’m hopefully Gonna change my gameplay and try a Pandaren mage to main. It’s been fun not playing my hunter for a change. I’m also glad they haven’t given up on heritage Armor which gives me hope for Darkspear trolls
Overall the expansion is positive so far
why you all bloodelves female are naked in the armory?
The new fireplume set has an allergy to wow armory
yeah, I gave up on that. Everytime I logged in the game the shoulders and belt were always white and blue squares
It’s the joy of new shop transmog, it always seems to take the armory a while to catch up.
Punyelf isn’t naked! Don’t you see the crown? She is a naked queen
I’ll be honest, it’s simply easier to just farm mats and sell them - I already made hundreds of thousands from that in barely a month, and that gold is easier to obtain than the profession skill, let alone the mats themselves, to make them
Well… the one exception is this lariat neckpiece maybe, as it goes for hefty amounts as is.
It’s not worth burning yourself out on it. Too much hassle for too little reward, at least in my eyes - and you could have them done with a crafting order anyways, too (if it gets popular enough, that is)
Ah yes, I almost forgot about this. Generally I prefer Classic’s leveling (not sure why… memories maybe, or simply the fact how resources work, or the easier rotations?), but there’s 1 good build, maybe a second alternative, whereas you can mix-match in Retail to whatever you like more (or are more in need of - for me, it’s generally a good amount of passives as I don’t like to have too many keybinds).
That too, even if I liked that theme, gets a bit much after a while. Funnily enough, my two favorite transmogs from this era have black as a dominant color.
Does a tube top count as naked?
That’s new for me… I might like revealing clothing but I do have standards apart from my brethren in Goldshire.
Then what sort of queen kween am I?
honestly i was gonna ask the same thing. does a dress or tube top not exist? how did they know we are naked?
forums be a weird place mon.
Ye sure …positivity
Maybe it’s because Blizzard said that the new expansion is coming out after the new year …everyone was cheering and saying great so they have time to do it so that it doesn’t happen what happened when SL launched …well after two months Blizzard came back saying that they will release it before Christmas …boom and you have 10 000 bugs and errors and it’s unoptimized …some classes are unplayable. BFA content is unoptimized for the level. Dragonriding will disconnect you from the server if you hit the ground wrong. The first week after the raid started there was no portal to go out of the raid.
Some world quests still don’t work.
Flying flowers and mining rocks.
The auction is lagging like the stock market is about to crash.
People with a rtx 3060 are getting the game lagging like they are playing on windows 2000 with 1gb ram.
Some quests on anti beta are missing.
Crafting is locked behind reputation and story.
Doesn’t work normally que to connect to dungeons.
LFG disconnects 3 people in a group from questing for no reason.
Addons don’t work.
Blizzard UI is causing the problem without addons anyway.
Some warmode parts of the map are unplayable because there years of rebuilt DH and instakills.
Some trinkets instakill.
Enemies in dungeons and even on mythic+ can be wallbugged so they either have Evade or it’s a free kill.
Some bosses on tyrannycal are just nearly immortal.
Until now, three weeks after reporting, they haven’t fixed the location where almost everyone else gets stuck when they accidentally fall in (personal experience and I sent in a report).
And instead they give you a beautiful tmog to shop ;* so you can send them money.
Anything else !!!
- They add a road map…they dont event want repair something…they will just continue
Everything they have done to warmode is really good and awesome.
Only thing I could wish for is even more warmode stuff!!
Honestly they need to add a PvP reputation faction every expansion.
I also like Dragonflight. Certain features need a bit of improvement but all things considered, I enjoy it.
