Quick info: -Casual but focused progression guild with a fun atmosphere. Heroic only. -Raid Schedule is currently Wednesdays 20:00-23:00 and Sundays 20:00-23:00. -Just want to complete the content with like-minded players at a decent level without sacrificing loads of time? We tend to clear heroic a few times and take a break from raiding between tiers. -Social atmosphere in our discord, keep in touch, arrange in-game activities and play other games with each other etc. We like Memes. -We’ve been doing this for years, since 2011. Casual Excuse was originally created on Frostwhisper early 2011 but some of us have been playing together for longer. After the realm dried up of Alliance activity we decided to move to Quel’Thalas. We raid pre-Mythic content 2 days a week during progression under a fairly casual atmosphere.
We are always looking to improve our roster with quality recruits. To try and keep a balanced raiding roster the most desired roles are listed above but even if you do not play any of these feel free to talk to us about joining.
What we expect from you: -You are preferably 18+ -You’re a mature (somewhat - we like to have a laugh) and reliable player. -You should be able to attend both raids each week with limited absence. People have lives. It’s okay to miss the occasional raid, but we like reliable players. -You should know your class & spec very well. Preferably multiple specs. A striving to always improve mindset is a plus. -Your gear is reasonably up to date for the current content, with the right gems & enchants. -Know/research the current encounters we’re facing for raids, so we don’t have to explain every detail for you.
What you can expect from us: -Casual and fun atmospere, we like to have a laugh. -We do take our 2 raids a week seriously, we are doing our best to progress as much as possible those two nights. Between the raids we’re discussing in discord how to improve our raiding. We’re not hardcore, but we’re focused. -We have a guild discord which we require for our raid voice comms. But it’s also where our members keep in touch outside of game to arrange in-game activities like M+ or just chill and chat about whatever, play other games together etc. -We tend to clear heroic a few times and take a break from raiding between tiers. No point farming forever just because. We’re not one of those low progressed Mythic guilds smashing their face into the same boss for months!
