Hello everyone,
After a long time (almost two years now), I still have the quest in my bag. After completing the achievement and finishing the fight with Avalon, emerging victorious, the NPC simply vanished into thin air before I could complete the quest. I contacted support numerous times, but received no resolution. They told me no one had reported this issue. I tried abandoning the quest, but it was greyed out and couldn’t be abandoned. I was afraid to destroy the item, so at some point, I just got bored and ignored the quest, believing they’d eventually fix the bug that I reported many times.
Time passed, and I went to the stairs near Ulduar to check for any updates, but the NPC was still not there. I logged into all of my 24 alts and went to the location to complete the quest, but guess what? The NPC wasn’t there on any of my characters. I didn’t know what else to do until today, when I revisited the topic.
This is the first time I’m posting in the forum. I destroyed the item from my bag, but the quest remains in my log, still haunting me. I don’t know what else to do, so I created this post in hopes that someone can help me. I hope this issue gets resolved soon.
