In some cases, it requires a manual solution and unfortunately either way this is not something we can assist with through the forums.

I started playing wow season of mastery. Yesterday the Dreadnought PVP server had a technical failure. When the server was repaired I tried to login to my character but the error popped up: character with this name already exist. It turns out that my character is still active on the server and I cannot enter it. I tried to reset the interface but it didn’t help. Help me pls :). My character : “Ragez” on server Drednaught PvP

Server shutdown happening now,so my best guess is your gonna be okay from tommorow.
Im so damn sick and tierd of this all over again.
why are they not trying to fix it ? plssssss ffs this has now goen on for 2 days.
i have created tickets and tryed everything, and nothing is working and no one from blizzard are answering anything at all.
why can i not just pay for the game and play.! . Like why do i have to be the 1 person out of the 14 i play whit who has to stick whit this in every blizzard games.
Unfortunately multiple characters with the same name can cause problems and to prevent this only one person may have that name. You can either swap servers or just choose another name
I don’t know if support can solve it, but you need to make one ticket and keep it open. Each time you make a new one, it goes to the back of the queue.
