So the war within has been lots of fun UNTIL you hit max level and unlock world quests
can something PLEASE be done about the spawn rates of world quest mobs i was doing the one in the ringing deeps where you have to kill 12 worms but the sspawn rate was so low that the 5 other people and i in the area were stuck waiting only to ssee one worm spawn in the distance and someone else killed it
and PLEASE if a world quest needs us to collect something thats lying around on the floor make them collectable by EVERYONE i was doing “recovery effort” (i think i got the name right) in hallowfall and when i was clearing the mobs around the boxes i had to check for tools a stealthed kitty druid or rogue just turned up and took it
furthermore to that quest if we have to check boxes which thanks to a low spawn rate and the aforementioned stealth class advantage are VERY hard to find let alone click on PLEASE dont put junk like the bombs in them randomly instead of the item we need
and the quest in azj-kahet where you have to get a light buff while flying to pop nerubian balloons this is the quest that forced me to write this post currently this is taking so long cos i was competing for balloons with NINE other players
i thought world quests were supposed to be short and snappy because of how repetative they become over the span of an expansion but as they stand now it FEELS like almost EVERY world quest is forced PVP but instead of killing eachother were just wasting each others time
That is and old wow staple. This will not get fixed. THis is a deal with it or leave wow, the game, issue. This is what wow is essentially. That is wow.
A million people all at once seeking quest items that despawn is also a feature of wow. This is not goign to get addressed. This is WoW. A feature of wow.
Annoying as heck but that is wow since as long as i have played. Wont get changed. Deal with it or move on.

im sorry to point this out but im guessing you started playing after cataclysm where the literally changed something that “made wow wow” that being the quest item drop rates before cata if you had to get an item to drop off of mobs for a quest you could need 25 for a quest kill 50 of the mobs and get ZERO items go play classic era and you will see for yourself because back then it was a total RNGfest so its not like they CANT change it but unless fewer people take up your attitude and just say “its something we have to live with now” they WONT change it
so dont settle for what is obviously just bad design and tell others to “deal with it” we should be holding blizz to a higher standard and expect them not to just waste our time
I started late WOTLK. I am well aware of pathetic drop rates. Hunting rare quest starters for hours was a thing back then. This game has an element of gambling that partially feeds the dopamine system. Low quest item drop rates is part of that.
Getting both faction in one space to either kill or save one mob is also a thing. Or was. Still is in places.
This is wow. WoW is also horribly time gated and how long have we all moaned about that? Did anything get done about that? Only now are we seeing some changes.
