These threads always remind me some players buy multi-month subscription time. Not sure I’ve ever paid for wow on anything but a monthly sub.
I have had on-going wow sub since… i can’t remember when i switched from the code cards to sub… but at least a 12 years of non-stop sub

That murloc is spicy tho, but that wotlk mount is very disapointing
I pay 6 months: it’s cheaper € 12 per 6 months off - same as one year sub actually - funny one year is not cheaper.
And I have recurring sub, so I won’t forget. After missing a Raid once because sub had ran out I swore never more.
Like Lorraen I got some tabard, that sits unused in my bank 
And a pot of yucky Goblin Gumbo.

Oh yeah I know it’s cheaper, and I probably did have 3 month subs back in the day, but when I was threatening myself to quit during late wrath and late Cata I always did one month - didn’t like the idea of quitting but still having an active account. Glad I did in the end too!
Any of the rewards that are acquired through subs or item shop/IRL money never really interest me. Any time I see them in game I think that’s where they’re from.
Imagine complaining you are not getting robbed properly …
My worry for quarterly/yearly subscriptions is that surely there will be a time when all your subcriptions are coming off close to eachother and then you suddenly can’t buy new shoes or something
i think “MOST” people are smart enough to know when they cannot afford something…
and a lot of wow players will walk around barefoot instead of buying shoes…
as most of them never go outdoors anyway.
i allways buy 1 month with a virtual card.when game is not delivering i dont play.
like in shadowlands i played season 1 and 2 and unsubbed season 3 and 4 because game was reeeeally bad.
if i paid 12 months in the end of season 2,i would just lost the money.

IF we had a roadmap maaaaybe i would sub for longer than 1 month.
but in this game your class is good now and nerfed 1 month later so not worth giving them trust,and i only trust in 2 things ,1 is me,and other is not blizzard.
also the mounts are ugly ,no pvp theemed badass mount they look like disney cartoon network for kids.
easy pass.
Proto-drakes are garbage. Too big, too ugly and too big.

They are my favorite mounts out of everything tho.
I pay for multi-month subs simply because I’ve played Classic since it’s release and I already know what’s coming and whether or not I like it.
Sure there’s minor “tweaks” here and there, but overall I know what to expect and thus minimal risk for me.
