i really need help here, i have spent two hours googling, youtube etc. I am trying to get the questline ‘A dying world’. I have followed all the steps i have found and even blizzard on a forum post confirm, Dragonflight intro and then it appears. This does not appear for my druid alt at all.
My druid is a level 70. ‘Icalzi’ With the dragonflight intro done. I even started doing the BFA questline and got to ‘Harnessing the power’. Guess what, i cant even do that because this quest doesnt appear!!
(As of 10.1.5) If the Earthen Guardians / Nathanos aren’t offering you this quest - make sure you’ve completed the DF intro quest To The Dragon Isles (questline starts with Wrathion - The Dragon Isles Await).
After completing the DF intro quest, the Earthen Guardian FINALLY offered A Dying World.
The Blizz support article says don’t be on the DF intro quests (which I interpreted as “not in your questlog”), but this is incorrect - I had to actually complete the questline (which only takes ~5 mins)
Yes i have got to the dragon isles. Which completed the quest ‘The dragon Isles Await’. That is why i’m confused. I haven’t done the first few quests once i get there which is kill ‘XYZ’ mobs but done what it suggests i do.
That’s strange. I didn’t think you could get to the Harnessing quest unless you had obtained the Heart of Azeroth. I mean, as you say you can’t complete the quest without it, so you shouldn’t get it if you don’t have the heart.
Are you sure you haven’t completed ‘A Dying World’ earlier, and put the Heart in your bank?
Well, the only reason i did them quests is because they are the start of BFA area. Nope, the heart isnt in my bank nor my inventory, i also read you CANNOT destroy or delete so even if i forgot that i had once upon time done it. It would always be on there character.

Hmm, mysterious. New attempt. In Nazjatar, have you done the quest ‘A Way Home’? The quest that opens the portal? (you probably have) When I took my lvl 70 to BFA and went straight to Nazjetar, without picking up the Heart first, Magni showed up in Nazjatar with ‘A Dying World’.
Going to Silithus without picking up ‘A Dying World’, I can’t enter the Chamber of Hearts.
