At risk of having to repeat and spell everything out (which we do)
Per the andorhal quests, Koltira and Thassarian are ‘no longer brothers’ in his own words, as they are now of the horde and alliance, not the EB.

So if I recruit you as the Champion of the Forsaken, you have been re-recruited into the Forsaken?
Please…
Also Thassarian then been hanging around with you, raising Nazgrim and everything without even being a member of the Ebon Blade…
I believe the word you’re looking for is promotion, but as English isn’t your strong suit, that can be excused.
Obviously ‘‘Recruited’’ is used due to game mechanics, since you recruit them for the order missions.
Saying promotion would be weird game mechanically.
But I see this discussion here just sinking down to petty insulting.
You’re misreading what I said, if I were to become a Champion of the Forsaken, that would be a promotion. Furthermore, recruiting in the context we’re discussing was not used in game mechanics but quite literally in the quest text itself.
But then why did Thassarian run around with you, being in Acherus, tasked to locate Nazgrim’s grave before he was re-recruited?
It makes no sense.
Because he’s your friend, maybe? I don’t know about you, but I help my friends out in their time of need. Note that the recruiting you do in Acherus might just be the formal part of bringing him back in the fold.
Taking them from the Light embrace and turning them into Forsaken isn’t helping !
Debatable.
you keep asking but every time someone says something dead-end and simple (like the andorhal thing that clearly indicates both no longer consider themselves to be of the Blade) you dodge it and move on to the next thing.
if you just want confirmation and refuse to bend off your headcanon or whatever, say so, my dude. Saves a lotta time.
Can you please give me the link?
You say things, but without actually giving where it is given?
Nvm I actually looked it up myself
https://wow.gamepedia.com/The_Battle_Resumes!
The battle has resumed. This time, we fight the Forsaken…and I fight Koltira, my old brother of the Ebon Blade
But then Thassarian goes after Koltira later in the quest.
https://wow.gamepedia.com/Alas,_Andorhal_(quest)
And the way Thassarian puts the ‘‘Old brother’’ gives the feeling that he isn’t happy about him having to fight Koltira who now serves the Forsaken, since they were ‘‘brothers’’ while being part of the Ebon Blade.
That comment do not confirm them actually left Ebon Blade, but actually prioritize their duties as Alliance/Horde above Ebon Blade.
Since none of them get re-recruited back in Legion.
Ameri you are the one making headcanons, not me here.
I have not been keeping up with the topic but I’d like to reply to this:
https ://wow.gamepedia. com / Where_Kings_Walk
"You are now, and forever will be, a Knight of the Ebon Blade, but know this: you were once a hero of the Alliance.
<Darion stares at you.>
This order must establish allies for itself if it is to survive. You must represent the Knights of the Ebon Blade to the Alliance.
On the platform, southeast of me, is a portal to Stormwind City. Take this letter, given to me on your behalf by Lord Fordring, and deliver it to King Anduin Wrynn. Use the portal."
Of course, if a player wants to leave the Ebon Blade to fully commit to their faction, I don’t see why not, but as far as we’ve been told, the majority of the death knights that serve the Alliance and Horde were only able to join them because they were part of the Ebon Blade, and because Tirion Fordring vouched for them.
So I dare say it’s very safe to assume that the undead death knight in Stormheim, the blood elf death knight in Drustvar, and even the three undead death knights in Zuldazar could very well all still be considered within the Ebon Blade’s employ for all we know.
The Ebonsworn Unit arrived in Eastern Plaguelands tonight and encountered a small group of Old God worshipers doing a ritual in the chapel of Scarlet Enclave but was quickly dealt with.
The plan is to remain here actively for atleast a week and a Call to Arms been sent out to Acherus so if any Ebon RP’er wish to come by and join the roleplay do not hesitate to poke us.
The active hours most likely to be between 20.00 - 00.00 server time.
And remember that both Horde and Alliance faction may come by and its good if you got Elixir of Tongues around in worst case we can always trade you if required on Alliance side.
Overall the process of turning a guild into a community is going alright the discord is almost done and new members are contacting daily both for the guild but also people overall who just want to be part of the ‘‘Knights of the Ebon Blade’’ community that is non-guild bound.
See you in the Plaguelands, for the Ebon Blade!
Oh look more Death knight stu-…
Very epic and helpfull post. Should try and move to reddit to increase your posting per minute.
Class specifik stuff is always nice and cool when it is done right! I wish you good luck Angelus with this and hope you manage to create something nice for the Ebon Blade community!
It being non-guild bound might give you troubles though with keeping it together since in my experience (and opinion) at least, guild come first, other communities come second. Think there are others that feel that way too, either way hope it works out.
Don’t care
Didn’t ask
Thanks for pointing that out but that is not the case.
We have < The Ebonsworn > for Alliance and < The Ebonbound > for Horde.
The non-guild Community aimed for people who do not want to join a guild or may be in another guild but still want to connect with fellow Ebon RP’ers.
Edit: To join the guild have few set requirements based on activity and attitude towards fellow members.
The Community itself the requirement is only that you are IC member of the Ebon Blade.
Weird thing for someone to say after randomly putting trash in a thread.
Tonight at 20.00 the plan is to do some scouting across the remaining areas of the Eastern Plaguelands to get a better view of the situation.
Every member of the Ebon Blade are free to join in and roleplay with us in Scarlet Enclave, we most likely will be active around 20.00-00.00.
After one week small break for those interested in playing Classic been held we are returning to the roleplay that is currently going on in Eastern Plaguelands currently at Scarlet Enclave!
We are open towards anyone to come by and aid our efforts to battle evil in the region or even try to fight us if you dare!
