Byltan is over for this year, and what a wonderful time it was! Thank you to everyone who came and participated in the festival, you all made the evening so special and made the Shrine of Aessina come alive. It was thanks to all of you that the evening really felt like a festival, so thank you ever so much for that. I hope you enjoyed the festival and had a grand time.

As always, there are a couple of people I would like to thank especially, without whom this festival could not have been done.

Ialluen - for planning this entire thing with me and for always being willing to bounce ideas around, for writing the closing ritual and participating in the play.

Kathene - for hosting the kinship bracer workshop, writing the lore behind it and the items used in it, and for participating in the play and the ritual.

Telariel/Ashanna - for making the graphics for the kinship bracer workshop, for designing the transmog outfits used by the priestesses and some of the actors in the play, for hosting a stall during the market, for participating in the closing ritual and for collaborating with me in putting together the playlist for the evening.

Akylath - for filming parts of the festival and for bringing the renowned bard Ax’ell Rosethorn and his merry band, the Bows & Roses, to the festival and kicking the dancefloor to life!

Aariam, Thyreena and Loralyn - for playing your roles in the play to perfection and helping in bringing the story of the Mother and the Blue Child to life!

And lastly, a huge thanks to all the merchants who visited Byltan and helped make the market such a success! Thank you so much!

Now we’ll catch our breaths for a minute before we move on to planning the next festival, which will be Jurina’tore!
