About us
Progress is a long standing hardcore guild that formed in 2017 and has always been one of the very best guilds in the world at what we do.
On private servers we dominated PvE raids, world bosses and controlled most of the PvP ranks on the server as well.
This has since translated over to official Classic where we’ve obtained a world second MC clear, and a world first BWL clear. We also hold the second fastest (and Alliance first) Molten Core speedrun clear at 23 minutes.
We try to min/max to the highest possible level, and theorycraft improvements to our primary raid each week.
Our goal is to keep up the high standard of raiding throughout Classic and hopefully into future expansions; should they be released.
Current raiding status
We are currently running three full raid groups each week. These are:
- Raid 1 - this raid is our hardcore raid where we try our hardest to do good times and clears each week.
- Raid 2 - this raid is slightly more relaxed, but still easily the second best raid group on Firemaw, and is taken very seriously still.
- Raid 3 - this raid is our social/fun raid. Nevertheless, this raid also clears all content with ease and is for alts, or for us to test new raiders in.
All these raids farm MC, BWL and Ony weekly.
Additionally, Progress currently has complete control of Firemaw’s world bosses which we farm upon spawn.
Recruiting
We’re recruiting pretty much every class currently (as we run three raids, this allows us to have a deep roster). If you apply, please mention which raid you’re aiming to be part of! See the above guidelines for what may fit you best.

- Paladins
- Druids

- Warriors (Fury AND tank)
Expectations
Progress is a demanding guild and we expect world class performance from our raiders. Or at the least - the capacity to learn, and take constructive criticism.
You will be expected to:
- Use every consumable your class requires.
- Talent and spec appropriately for raids/PvP.
- Have a sensible UI with ALL YOUR ABILITIES, WATER, POTIONS ETC KEYBOUND. This cannot be stressed enough.
- Know all PvE encounter mechanics, and don’t stand in fire.
- Obey leadership, and be of a low maintenance personality.
Loot
As with all serious guilds, Progress uses a loot council that is fair. We aim to put items on the correct people based off: effort, attendance, performance and dedication.
Raid times
Our raids are currently run:
- Raid 1 - Wednesday 20:00
- Raid 2 - Sunday 20:00
- Raid 3 - Monday 20:00
Currently, you can expect raids to take approximately 2 hours maximum to clear all three raids. However, our raid times are officially from 19-23:00, and this may eventually be used when more raids become available.
