A friend of mine made a Fistweaving guide

My friend Swegglesm from NA has just put up a good guide for Fistweaving. I’d recommend giving it a read, even if you know how to play with the talent. I know I learned a thing or two at least.

Thank you for the link, great guide! Looking forward to see fistweaving guide for M+.

Pretty good guide I think, mostly goes along with what I know from my own play

I do think the claim that ATotM can be 20-25% of your healing is a bit… overkill. I typically see the 5-7% range in heroic raids. I can’t see why that would scale up…

I find Tear of Morning is a backup legendary depending on your group and the fight. Got 2 melee dps on quaking week? Use ToM. It’s too hard to generate healing from ATotM when you’re constantly running out of melee

I do think the claim that ATotM can be 20-25% of your healing is a bit… overkill.

I consistently see ATotM do 18-20% of my healing on a lot of fights. Make sure you look at both ATotM instances on WCL. Crits and non crits.

It can “only” do 10% on some fights if I am being lazy, but 20-25% is not unrealistic on Mythic if you have proper co-healers.

Ok, did not expect there to be 2 entries in the log for ATotM, I had indeed only noticed the first x)

Going from my most recent heroics…
Shriekwing: 8% and 1%
Huntsman: 10% and 3%
Hungering: 8% and 1.7%
Sludgefist: 7.6% and 2%
…other fights are less.

So ok, my highest from ATotM looks like 13% total. That’s respectable, tbf, but let’s see where I missed out…

Well, Wow Analyzer suggests I’m hitting 50-70% RSKs, which could be it, but also surprises me because I’m very aware of when that’s available. It’s also possible that I’m realising RSK is ready, and EF is also ready, and thus choosing to channel EF first… but there’s also times when it just doesn’t need to be cast and I may end up keeping both available for the next damage spike.

Which may mean that ATotM will actually seem to do more in mythic, when there will be less “eh, no need to heal rn” moments.

I’ll stand by my personal experience not coming close to 20%, but I’ll also accept that maybe higher content levels will make ATotM shine more

Holding RSK for EF (if you’re literally just about to cast EF) is perfectly fine. Or maybe you just aren’t DPSing enough.

I took a quick look at your logs, and it honestly just looks like you aren’t pressing your DPS buttons quite enough. If you don’t “need” to cast RSK then do it anyway. Always be spamming RSK, BoK and Tiger Palm when you have nothing to heal, as extending your renewing mists is a big part of Rising Mist.
