A friendly reminder

Legion mythic raids are still not soloable. Considering many of the mounts are not personal loot and are shared between the group this makes it suck even more. This is all. Have a nice evening all :slightly_smiling_face:.

I’m pretty sure their reasoning behind this is that they want you to stay in shadowlands, not go back and do old stuff.

You taking 2-3 hours a week to solo clear some old raids isn’t really an issue.

They are just being stubborn for no reason.

This is simply not true. Blizzard has made multiple changes in the past to allow people to solo previous expansions.

That was “the past” blizzard.

But times change.

Well for some people this is the content they enjoy doing. Personally I have hit a wall since I have no more raids/dungeons to farm except from Legion and forward. I think it is in their best interest as well to let us farm the content. A small change can earn them big profits since people are now farming again old content and not letting their subs run out.

I’d love to cotinue this trail of thought but I recently got “silenced” for a few days for speaking my mind towards blizzard… so i should probably not continue this conversation any further.

I’m just afraid that blizz will do something to hurt me again…

I have voiced my objections towards Blizzards decisions many times and never got silenced (always done in a non-vulgar way though). I don’t think you have anything to be afraid of. If you keep things civil you will be absolutely fine

So making some friends and farming it is off the cards why? I’m sure there are people in the same boat as you.

a lot of people don’t care about “Playing with others” any more.

We need to move away from what the game was several years ago.

Many players just want to exist in a big virtual world and play & progress in their own way.

The more solo friendly the game is the better.

And so many people say we need to take the game back to its glory days and how we shouldn’t treat people as npcs and build relationships. Which is it?

Solo’d Emerald Nightmare on my Mage the other day. So its not impossible to solo.

I have friends and we play together. The problem is that many Legion mounts are not personal loot. Meaning the drop is shared amongst everyone in the group. Meaning if let’s say you have a 1% mount and 5 people go in the raid, the chance of you getting the mount is actually around 0.2%. That means that on average you will have to run around 1000 raids to get a mount.

There is a very specific reason why I refuse to farm world boss mounts even though I have an army of 50 alts and this is it. It is just a complete and utter time-waster. Anything below 1% is basically too inefficient to farm. Farming gold cap and getting it off the BMAH is probably faster than farming it at its current state.

I’m sure if people truly wanted to “Group up” they would.

But often it seems like they just want to force social interaction.

Just have ways to accommodate both groups without ruining it for the other group.

I’m sure he’s refering to the ones that are hard to solo like Nighhold & tomb.

Emerald Nightmare does not drop a mount. If you can solo Antorus Mythic or Nighthold mythic I would be interested to hear that. Tomb also has many nice mogs for mog collectors and is also a huge pain.

if you look on the in game dungeon journal it says the nighthold mount drops in normal and heroic as well as mythic, not sure if its a bug,i just soloed on heroic on my mm hunter no probs,no mount though.

If you mean Gul’dan it’s because he drops two colours of the same mount. One is only available on mythic and the other drops on nm/hc/m

oh i didnt know that thanks for heads-up.
