Hello, im also dutch. but we are english speaking. long post
disclaimer: its not as hardcore as these pages make it out to be, we are very chill n friendly. we also cleared all content if that matters to you guys, our core is also from private servers like most of these guilds. we also have cleartimes under 1h for the tiers combined without worldbuffs and overconsuming.
Please hop into the guilds discord and check out everything in detail, you can chat/talk to me directly. Everyone is welcome to join this guild. Right now the core people are silent and waiting for launch. Slowly people are popping in as release draws close, preventing burnout while I prep things for launch. It features many in-depth guides collected over the years, now working on a list of gear to watch out for during leveling, including resist gears etc. Core consists of private server players whom played the original and we are porting the guild to classic retail realms. The divide between USA and EU has fractured the guild so we are looking for more people.

Welcome to Atmosphere, a little introduction.
We are a guild created with focus on longevity & atmosphere. We stive to create an environment where people are having fun & can find a lasting bastion to band together in. The challenge of endgame raiding is not considered difficult today. We loosen raid rules for player enjoyment & burnout prevention. Have off-meta specs for fun. We do not require you to bring an absurd amount of consumables or world buffs that eat up your time gathering every reset. The basics are fine as not to stress gold & time for excessive luxory. It will trivialize content and make us feel like poopie if we lose the buffs to ganks or mistake wipes.
Secondarily we value efficiency & time, because no one likes a slow raid, everyone loves free time. We expect you to be interested in playing your class efficiently. New players are still very welcome but be open to researching guides/mentoring. Guilds start with ideals of being the best raiding guild or greatest pvp guild, thats not the endgoal here. We foster players that enjoy multiple aspects the game offers. The goal is to stand the test of time, enjoy classic raiding & non-raiding content with people whom share a similar mindset. Worldbuffs & Overconsuming will be used when we hit into any walls, but are not required when raiding with us.
Whenever members catch wind of issues about loot or social interactions between members we pro-actively seek it out and deal with it on the spot, we don’t let the issues fester & bulk. This only leads to people taking sides and drama nobody wants. You can find more info about our look on things in the guild information & mindset sections below.
Guild Information & Rules
Focus: Semi-HC PvE
Language: English
Region: Europe
Realm: Gehennas-PvP
Raidtimes: Unknown (will be updated when more people join and we figure out a sweetspot)
Raidloot: Masterlooter+EPGP(council emulating addon) (guild decision pending)
You know how this works, you don’t act like an offensive idiot. You respect people in and out of the guild. Don’t cry wolf over things that are not a big deal. Solve your problems in whispers among inflicted parties. If you can’t find a solution talk to an officer. No pointing fingers. Anything said to you by our officers is without ill-intent or ridicule, if this somehow is the case contact the leader. If someone acts like a poopiehole, do feel inclined to step in and let them know.
The following rules apply to all channels in the Atmosphere Classic discord & guild. Respectful chat is essential. Although you may have differing opinions, there is a respectful way to talk to one another.
- Don’t be too offensive, nor too easily offended.
- Be civil. The following chat conduct will not be tolerated:
→Racism
→Excessive Sexism
→Excessive Violence
→Unwanted Sexual Orientation Slurs
→Excessive Hate Speech of any kind
Guild Mindset
We don’t have to see eye to eye on everything, but if you share a somewhat similar mindset on some of these thats great. We encourage members to band together and do content for character power progression, or just do whatever you want to do in-game. Preferably towards guild goals. They benefit everyone, big picture thinking.
Leadership:
Funny in digital, there are no rules that say you need to respect the guild management as a online leader figure. We only get things done by surrounding ourselves with good people. We practise what we preach and try to make good moral decisions based on gathered info to earn your respect. Issues happen, we don’t dance around them. No one likes coming over too hostile, but a pro-active approach is better then festering issues. Officers and leaders only enact their rank if there is need for it, in all other regards its just vanity.
Raidloot:
Raidloot is a guild decision that will come to pass as we discuss it over time together, whats written below is just theory. We do all have to see eye to eye on loot in the end tho.
Masterlooter+EPGP(addon which emulates a lootcouncil so uncorruptable unlike men. Masterlooter on the purest and fairest of heart to prevent any drama)
DKP: 40+ people and 3-4 pieces of loot, with inconsistency in raid showup and the way people want fair distribution, DKP was born long ago to have a fair system. DKP system works well in guilds with consistent same people showup. If showup is too inconsistent of same people - DKP bidwars become a corrupt &%$#ing hell of scumbaggery and drama/schemery. Unless tightly moderated by rules and outside sources such as websites which is a hassle to dedicate time to.
Lootcouncil: Good if raid showup is inconsistent & consistant of the same people. Over time everyone will be geared as items are dished out to whom benefits the most at the time. Downside to lootcouncil is that the even-out-dishing of gear will slow overall raidboss killtimes, multiplied by instance resets these add up, this is fixxed by adding a little MT favoritism to stay on top of TPS.
MT favoritism(phenomenon inside of raiding scene): Considering vanilla threat, equal gear, 14% parry instead of 10%(private servers) and no errors in rotation on both Tank and DPS; the threat generated by DPS will overtake MT. Unless aggro-dump abilities are used which in turn lower your DPS; resulting in a slower kill time and u having to sit there with retracted claws basically autoattacking. Multiplied by instance resets these add up overall boss killtime. With this in mind guilds whom favor faster runs will dish out certain pieces of gear to the MT allowing DPS to go deeps without fear of overaggro/using dumps.
Fun:
Grouping up together getting gear, rare recipes, materials & furthering raid progression. Character power progression. Helping guildies by tanking for them. Enjoy all of the content the game offers. Not that big on pvp but with guildies im more down then otherwise. Fun also differs alot from person to person and to each their own. I really enjoy the tanking and groupleading in this game, even if I have nothing to gain from doing the instance, if your tank drops out midrun - you know who to call.
Cliquing & Inclusion:
We understand that friends play together and clique’s(squads/gangs) do form. Clique’s whom alienate themselves from the cohesion is less desirable. Think about your past guilds that fell apart because of clique’s creating too much friction somehow being difficult on including others. Please be wary of cliquing and include other guild members in your groups to avoid alienating others, this develops a more stable core.
Community:
Core teams fall apart because they stop having fun, logging in etc. We avoid monotomy by being effecient in raidtimes, keep folks from being bored by changing things up now and then. We encourage grouping and communicating to create bonds, this way we can develop a stable core. Game is more enjoyable when you can login and play with someone you cleared goals with over time. No big decisions are being pulled out of our asses, we gather input and change things accordingly.
Guild Goals
Short term:
- Enjoy the game and get the character you want to raid with to 60 at a decent pace, no stress enjoy the leveling process if you want to.
- Extra officers for recruitment, day to day organization etc.
- 2-3 Extra raid leaders. (backups and I dont want to personally raid lead unless necessary)
- Collect 40+ active players who can raid at the same times.
- Look out for open-world BIS drops and resist gear that your class might not need but others will. I’d prefer if these went to our guildies. Not telling you that you have to trade them away freely, but maybe a piece for a piece or guild discount. Or go full wholesome and trade freely amongst eachother. (list coming: leveling-lootwatch)(discord)
- Get attunements done for Ony and MC.
- Collect pre-raid-bis gear(lists are guides) together, dont clique too much, diversify the guildies you play with now and then to avoid alienating solo or less vocal players. This develops a bigger stable core then being exclusive to your gangs/squads.
Long term:
- Clear Ony and MC – have the raid cleartime for tier 1 at about an hour combined.
- Stockpile end game items(nexus crystals/resources for guild enchants, rare patterns/enchants etc.) (list coming)
- Prepare materials for content available in later phases. (list coming)
- Find some AH goblins to play markets as a guild.
- Stand the test of time making some friends along the way. Kill Kel’thuzad, collect the definite BIS list for every member. A long journey that only comes to pass with longevity and atmosphere amongst the members.
