A higher raid difficulty with a *special* reward! /winkwink

Make a 2nd version of raids, with a higher difficulty. Give them the same drops and make them share an ID with the normal versions (You can only make one per ID).

Loot, achievments and titles are distracting the players from the reward of having beat the raid. Overcoming such a challenge actually is a reward in itself, but powerful rewards or prestige are replacing this with an artificial reward.
This is not possible to change, but giving the players new endgame content without additional rewards, will make them think, that their personal achievement is something desireable. And they will be right, because this is actually true. They just forgot it, because they were bombarded with so many shiny things in the past, that were supposed to make them happy and rewarded them.

Probably people will do the hard versions of the raid together, not being tools of each other to reach the artificial rewards, but actually forming connections and gaining the feeling, like doing something that has a personal meaning for them.

Harder difficulty with the same rewards sounds like something that is not very desirable. Why would you waste your time with such a thing. There are so many things to do besides pve content and trust me ,people prefer to spend less time in instanced content. Having BFD formula for further raids is an excellent decision by blizzard and i salute them.

I don’t know if the time is “wasted”. If it is “wasted” time, it shouldn’t be in the game at all, shouldn’t it? Also, if people prefer to spend less time in instanced content, there maybe is an issue, that should maybe be resolved

Not interested.

They should and will buff existing raids, but only just about enough to compensate for runes.

Classic is a faceroll and should remain such. If I’d want to tryhard some challenge, I’d go back to retail.

The current raid difficulty fits well for the majority of players but if you spend 7-12 hours daily, min/max and QQ about lack of content, too easy raids and etc… well my friend, i assume the problem is not the raid difficulty

This would just lead to posts like this.

LFM BFD - be full pre bis, have consumes, boon and be 7/7 with hard mode achievement… For a normal clear

As long as we dont get the cringe shyte of Retail, aka same item with higher Ilvl, drop an extra item is one thing but retail is absolute shyte with how the gear works

Pretty much what we have already wich is silly, those people just can handle the raid unless topped off

As if that’s not the case anyway.

Sweatlords gonna sweat.

Id say NO incentive is not enough to hit a cap that makes enough people want to do it, but you need wnough to have groups forming for it.

Just add something symbolic, likd a tarb

I would do it if it meant having a second chance at gear because the RNG situation is ridiculous right now and you end up with characters better geared after 1 BFD clear than some with 8.

We got retail m+ and mythic raiding, classic is nice due to its simplicity.

I feel for ya, I got a nearly bis hunter but iv raided on cd every reset and iv never seen the epic bow or trident.

Unfortunately game loot has always sucked in wow. I’d just rather the tokens from bosses to buy the gear. So you choose , u can save em up for the big boy items or spend on the other slots to get better stats etc.

Maybe the token system added on top of drops for Phase 2 would be a good option as the phases move pretty quickly

So you get the random drops from the bosses but then I can spend tokens to buy the missing gear slots or something

Two separated difficulties without shared ID will never ever be a thing on classic. Read again what the author said

well thanks for not going into, what i wrote, at all, i guess.

To me, this phase 1 feels a bit like a beta for classic+ anyway, so I thought this would be nice to try out. People are already doing parse runs, speed runs and some no-buff runs in different versions of the game, so maybe leaning more into that warrior spirit could turn out well and there will be people doing it.
Maybe it will also decrease the tryhard mentality in normal raids - I don’t know ^^

You are joking ,right ? Guys ,are u out of mind? Blizzard gave you an access to another versions of world of warcraft, where you can enjoy your gear tokens and etc

it would make sense on the phase situation. I’m not saying to have it in at lv60.

But for content where it’s only lasting a few weeks. It would help people get geared before moving on to next phase.

Much better, do not add any more raids because lots of people will never see them anyway. Just look at the ridiculous demands of people in the LFG channel to even let you go into the raid…

I wrote in game once, that i refuse to use shadow prot or fap, and I still found a group, though I had no logs. But I know, where you’re coming from. People asking for parses can be a bit intimidating, when starting.

No thanks, not needed
