Read. His. Post.
No really. Actually read it.
What he’s describing is NOT in any of those games.
A persistent world yeah, but not a ‘reacts to your input/actions and stays changed forever’ kind of world.
Again… Read it. Actually read it.
For you maybe. Not for me. And that’s the beauty of an mmorpg; all kinds of different players can interact with (or ignore) each other as much as they wish.
So my way of playing isn’t any less relevant or meaningful than yours.
Of course I didn’t LITERALLY ask for it. Duh. And I’m quite sure you know that.
It was just a way of saying ‘I like what they did with phasing and such’. It makes the world feel more alive. And yeah, I really couldn’t care less what some stranger did in a zone. Not one bit.
Enjoy the report.
I’m not bothered with it, I never said any such thing. I just don’t CARE about it. And to me: A changing world that reacts to my actions > seeing another player. For sure.
If I walked into a zone the first time and discovered all the content there is gone because another player already ‘saved the zone’, then I’d be pissed off and demand my money back.
