Remember those words when we put down the Lich Queen.
Iâll be too busy celebrating that this garbage story is over.
I canât wait for the generic void lord expansion, genuinely wanted everything BUT that before this steaming turd of an expansion.
I hope you like purple.
God I am so ready for the dull colour pallette and equally predictable story of woah⌠the void lords so evil but w-wait!!! Whatâs that??? Itâs the evil Legion of Light!!! And somewhere in there Anduinâs magic bones detect the truth and Christie Goldenâs ovaries churn at the thought.
Same.
BFA ruled its questing in side-quests than the faction main-plot. Guh. Here I thought Blizzard was ready to make a proper faction war, but apparently not.
Maybe in another handful of years when they go against their word once more and renew faction war because they didnât like how BFA turned out. Or something.
Then weâll see the Horde fall into the hands of Lorâthemar after the latest honourable leader either passes on the title or just passes on full stop. Heâll throw the Horde on a mission of elvish supremacy, with his only real enemy being the Alliance, led by Anduin-but-now-heâs-got-a-beard, with the aid of an honourable Horde rebel such as uh, Gallywix or something, I donât know, weâre running out of Horde characters that existed before Legion.
Iâll take a solid but predictable story over a bad one that âsubverts my expectationsâ any day. The story of the game doesnât have to be more than mediocre. Most people are not playing for the story. But it has to be good enough not to undermine your immersion into the game. If you are made to watch hours of cutscenes and dialogue and itâs not only cheesy but just doesnât make any sense⌠even people who never cared about the story will become annoyed.
That perfectly sums up Saurfang and why he is just a coward who pretty much left M+ group in front of th Final Boss going âThere is no honour in thisâ so yeah⌠to hell with that Traitor!
Sylvannas is a strategist. She needed a blow to the enemies morale. Since Saurfang chickened out and didnt finish Malfurion to strike that blow, she had to âimproviseâ
Now mind you she is far from perfect ok⌠but at least the other leaders stay in the Horde even if they disagree. Saurfang is just a leaver
Pretty poor strategist Iâd say if she failed to break the night elves morale and instead rallied them by burning a tree.
Oh and she also didnât kill Malfurion when she could and gave the âhonourâ to Saurfang, neglecting the possibility that he wouldnât make the kill.
He left a Group of Idiots jumping into a woodchipper because the Groupleade said it was fine.
She showed her enemy that Surrender isnât an option, and practically forces the Alliance to fight with everything they have got. Really Strategy much!!11
And since sheâs such a mastermind, why didnât she predict Saurfangâs behaviour? A good Leader knows his/her people.
For the moment, but most of them have shown distaste with her ways. I predict another uprising soon.
Pfeh, wouldâve been more in-character of her to let Saurfang do his thing, but then at the last minute head-shot Malfurion.
And then make some long-winded speech about how honor doesnât matter to a corpse or something bla bla bla.
The next time she says something like this I want a heckler to throw in that she doesnât speak for all corpses. Embrace the comedy.
Petition to make that her new in-game model.
Iâll volunteer myself to be the corpse and the heckler. Iâll start off by throwing a lawnchair at her.
I think it is more Fair to actually Compare Theramore to Zuldazar City.
Both were Neutral States Brought into the Faction Conflict by their Support Party.
Both are by all means Not fights with any Moral Highground.
And were simply Attacked because of the Military values and potentiols they Held.
Theramore with its Position to Horde Lands and Zulâdazarâs Golden Fleet.
Both Battles left a sour taste in the Mlutj of the victor, and we wil see proper Character Development for those involved.
But to Argue Theramore was even near the terribelness of Teldrasil?
Ainât going to happen.
The Kalâdorei are basically on Sinâdorei population now thanks to the Genocide.
The thing is, while Dazarâalor gave shelter to the Horde, they didnât support the Horde until after the Alliance Invasion in a meaningfull capacity, while Theramore sent an Invasion force to attack the Barrens and Mulgore.
First of all, Theramore was not neutral. It was a semi-autonomous city state within the Alliance.
Source?
Theramoreâs attack was retaliation for Garroshâs Ashenvale offensive. As was the attack on Taurajo.
Anduinâs arc pretty much changed by the end of Legion. When going on Broken Shore to find Varians sword.
He is a peace lover but does not back down from fight, becoming Manduin, you know. He has this âpeace is the noblest aspiration, but to preserve it, you must be willing to fightâ attitude.
Dont think he would surrender without fight, he cares too much what his people think of him (as shown in Legion quest in Stormwind).
Plus Horde will not have forces enough to straight up target Alliance for total annihilation!
As for Sylvanas I dont see how less criminal character comforts the whole Horde factions and playerbase.
Dalerynâs speech was not said to trigger her, but put some clarity in her twisted ways, but that Sylvanas raised as Banshee in WC3 is gone.
False. Zandalari troops invaded Kul Tiras alongside the rest of the Horde and even kept Kul Tiran captives.
