A lot of bots, everywhere

A lot of bots, everywhere… Every good spot where you could make money has like 1-4 bots all the time. Most of which I have reported like almost week ago, couple of times.
This needs to be fixed asap.

One GM in a server could catch most of them in a day if Blizzard just hired one to do so… Its so obvious they could ban them if they but more effort to it, can’t believe its been such a problem for so long.

It takes a lot out of the game from someone who likes to farm gold as I do.

Completely agree I made a fresh alt which was a orc and every single player was a hunter which was clearly a bot must’ve reported about 6 within 30 minutes

late at night a few weeks a go, i came near stockades and wanted to take a closer look at the steady stream of mages running to the nearest vendor and back to stockades.

there was like 20 mages standing on top of each other just outside the entrance ( waiting for 5 dungeons per hour limit i guess ) and a /who search showed another 40 mages inside. all around lv 30

so many bots and that was just my current layer and at 1 dungeon. the zones are full of them as well. after midnight, there are more bots than players in the game

Yeah, the botters have become pretty bold and cocky because they know they won’t face any consequences anytime soon. Before, they used to log off or disappear if you caught them or messaged them, scared of getting banned.

But now, they just don’t care. They’re always around, 24/7, and don’t react to anything. All they care about is making as much money as possible, confident they won’t get banned anytime soon.

Blizzard saved money by getting rid of the real game masters who kept the servers clean and the players happy, and then replaced them with useless/soulless automation. Now, they even make money from the botters before banning them with these “ban waves” instead of reacting promptly to ban them before they ruin the whole economy of the server…

Damn, do I miss the old Blizzard and the gaming atmosphere from the early 2000s. It’s all about the cash now, as the “top dogs” realized there is money to be made in the gaming world. Got to keep those investors happy, not the paying players that helped the company to grow in the first place, all those years ago, right? (Yes, if it sounded bitter, of course I’m bitter about it.)

Recently the gaming industry has become one of the largest markets where customers are treated this poorly, and it’s even expected and tolerated these days, just mad… Any other product or service and they would have gone bankrupt for sure. We really need to vote with our wallets; it’s the only way they will listen, period!

As for the quality of their content in recent years, I’ve had very low expectations for Blizzard and SOD for that matter, but it has been the most fun I’ve had in WoW for a long time. It has/had a lot of potential, but they clearly don’t respect their players enough to balance things out and ban the cheaters.

GG, good ramble into the void, with the delusion that Blizzard would actually see, listen and do something about it. I’m out to play something else. Cya.

Guys, GDKP is banned. These aren’t bots, obviously. The sole reason for buying gold has been eliminated. Kek.

Every version of every game has his.

You are never going to find devs that care enough to fix it.

Should’ve seen Lost ark in the launch months, like 50% on steam charts were bots.

original vanilla or tbc almost had no bots, and if they were - they were hiding
because after one report, guy in blue clothes comes and bans them

but now video games are only about profit, and game master’s salary is not profitable for them
