Hello

I am a mature sort of returning player, because I still laugh at stupid jokes (and should be old enough to know better) and I never really left, so its not strictly a return… I’ve been playing BfA on and off for most of the expac - mostly off though since Classic was released, because I wanted to see Raggy one last time and feel those goosebumps! :star_struck:

I’m looking to play more regularly in Shadowlands, and the pre patches, with the aim of resuming semi casual raiding again at cap: been playing since Vanilla, and been a resto druid since around late WotLK.

I am looking for a guild with mature, active players: and although I miss raiding alot, the community spirit of a guild is really important to me. WoW for me has always been about the people and has always been the main pull - I guess since my guild of almost 15 years sort of faded away last year, I’ve been chasing that feeling.

I would like to find a place to call home where I can have a good group of questing buddies, to level with and help each other out; people to be daft with and get into ridiculous scrapes and situations; people who don’t mind dying and will pick themselves back up again and have another crack at it…

I’m fairly apathetic about voice comms: I find it a little uncomfortable as it’s either loads of kids or massive groups of blokes, so a guild that uses the chat log is preferable to one that does everything over Discord.

I am open to a server move, but not faction - nelves have always been my first love (although if Belves ever get druids, I’ll be off like a rat up a drain pipe)

I am really not sure if what I am looking for even exists anymore: but maybe I’ll get lucky and the perfect guild is out there, needing a Vanilla, northern lass with a resto druid to complete them.

I’m looking for exactly the same thing you are in a guild so will give you a free bump and watch out for the replies from this post (i have my own one up but didn’t get any replies) hope this type of thing still exists, fingers crossed

The feeling you describe in your post is one that I understand very well, and I too saw my guild dwindle over BfA, which meant I went on a break for a while. But, with a couple of friends we’ve decided to give it another go for Shadowlands.
We’ve got a small group of players who have been together a long time, and we could use players like yourself. From your post I make up that you are a dedicated player, and that you have a good sense of what you’re looking for.

I’m going to drop the link to my recruitment post here and hope you will contact me so we could perhaps discuss this some more. I get the impression we have a lot of similar feelings about the game and guilds :slight_smile:
(and I am totally doing my best to appeal to you and not sound like every other recruitment post out there right now)

It’s nice to know that I am not the only one who values these things in a guild, and definitely gives me hope that what we’re looking for may be out there :slight_smile:

I must admit, I like alot what you have to say, and also the fact you’re on the same realm as me already is a bit plus! Like you, my guild also moved to Ravencrest in the hopes of recruiting from a bigger player base. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky tho - not everyone moved, and the draw of Classic saw us split three ways.

Hey there! :slight_smile: Our guild Rohnin on Silvermoon is looking for new players ready for Shadowlands and to get a Mythic team ready for when it starts. We started raiding a little last in this exp so we only have 6/12M but we are wanting to change that in Shadowlands. We have a great guild and very social too. We have a few irish people in our guild and a few couples too. We have 2 raid teams. HC team and Mythic team so 4 days a week in total and we have a funrun every fridays for socials and players wanting to chill and maybe play another spec.
