How aren’t there gear brackets when you have 7 upgrades for honor gear and Conquest gear can be upgraded if you reach higher rating. To get Mythic raiding gear you need to get gladiator or 2100 to get it from weekly chest. You’re absolutely delusional and you have no clue how PvP gearing works.
Honestly… why is it so hard to keep a system that has PvE gear viable only for PvE, and have PvP vendors for viable gear for PvP…
Leveled a vulpera monk last few days, with the hopes of doing some pvp. I am just recently back to WoW and looking forward to the expansion. I joined a couple of BGs now that there is a PvP vendor. I joined in all hierlooms. I planned to get some gear – doing content I enjoy and from the PvP gear vendor. Someone in my team called me out on having 7.5k hp from wearing hierlooms and the odd pvp vendor gear I had. The gear you get from PvP vendor is nowhere close the the mythic 15 people are wearing. It’s a joke that the PvP vendor gear is so weak. I decided to wait until the catch up before I try PvP again. I hope shadowlands isn’t the joke pvp gear this time.

You’ve never been able to gear up to a proper gear level from bg’s, so why are you even complaining about that OP. Nor should you be able to get good gear from them.

Wod was an expansion that was never finished because devs got pulled to legion.
We only ever saw about 50% of what WoD was supposed to be.
This whole thread should really be in the pvp section of the forum as it really is BG vs Arena.
We are currently set to have a Missives system where we can add scripts gained from Inscription to edit the secondary stats on a gear part. It could have been used in tandem to re-adding a PvP stat to the game. 
You misunderstood me.
I meant that players are not separated into brackets by their ilevel to make it more fair.
The freshly dinged 50 is in the same ‘bracket’ as those with top level gear. There are no gear brackets in that regard.
People have to do things they don’t like to be able to do things they like. Welcome to real life.
Fully agree! Especially considering that PvP gear / honor gear is mostly relevant during the first few months. Why the hell put up such a ridiculous barrier of entry.

A moment of silence indeed. RIP wow Pvp, it does take a bit of effort to support both pve and pvp playstyles, too much effort for modern Blizzard it seems…

We are not talking about the expansion content, we are talking about pvp vendors.
And? If you think they put more effort into WoD they would have removed pvp vendors? Doubt it.
People in PvP gear don’t want to be hotshots in PvE in that gear. We just want our gear to be the best in the content it is created for. And be easy-ish to obtain so everyone can be on an equal playing field within a short amount of time.

I really do miss the days of conquest gear being good in PvP and just getting conquest capped… Higher rating = higher cap so you get gear a little faster but in the end outside of some outlying trinkets/weapons from PvE you were not just outgeared to death.

Yes you are because the vendors item is a product of the expansion content.
If the expansion had been allowed to go on as it should it would not have been the case. From what was learned about what content was going to come but got scrapped.
You would not have had the best gear from battlegrounds but arena.
Perhaps in WoD then, don’t ask me, I was stuck clearing the mine in my garrison.
Every expansion from TBC up to WoD had a proper PvP vendor that you could use to get up to snuff on your gearing.
Out of all of those expansions Wrath had the worst implementation, but even then I basically never went to instances and raids and got my gear from PvP just fine.
And during Cata-MoP-WoD, none of the highest ilevel stuff was rating-locked so even a casual could get fully decked through pure PvP, though you kinda had to fight the weekly cap in Cata.

Which is sad since I was hoping to dive back into some wow pvp after the whole BFA disappointment.
