Body seems unclear, is it a complete sentence?
How come I have managed to level almost all professions to max and rarely have an issue gathering what I need - and i’m just one of those casual players who’s logged in for an hour or so evenings and a few hours at weekends?
I mean, according to you it’s “out of reach” yet it clearly isn’t.
i guess you can start looking at LBRS if you want to farm raw gold trough raw dungeons
And santa is real.
Well that really adds maturely to the thread doesn’t it. Try answering the question posed rather than trolling.

Mate you claim to have leveled up most professions which means you’ve literally farmed THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of materials and you say you only log in for a few hours a week, Anyone who played this game knows your response is total nonsense and you’re just saying “well you’re wrong I’ve done it” probably to just add up to your forum post count.
This panic from boosters is hilarious.
No, this will not cause more RMT, people will just adapt their farming metods, and prices will also adapt to the average gold income from the newer less effective farming methods, so all in all, economy is very little affected by this.
Biggest deal will be that bots will have a harder time farming in dungeons, causing them to find new less effective farms, or maybe go out in the open world where there is a higher risk of getting reported and banned.
Sky is not falling, there are other ways to farm gold, you will just need to adapt
Well unlike yourself - I take my fun in Wow from open world play and pvp. I don’t mess in dungeons or raids as I don’t find them fun; so yes I’ve farmed many thousands of herbs/ores/skins/fishes and maxed out almost every profession.
But you say……it’s not possible. Well yes it is - not everyone plays the same way. I’m sure there are hundreds of players who’ve maxed everything on all their toons.
I think its a good thing as it puts all classes on a more even scale for gold making potential (i have a lvl70 pally myself).
Ask yourself this:
if the only way you can make enough gold to keep up with the prices in the economy is to level a pally or a mage, is this good game design or bad?
+1 same experience
I think the next step is to ban bots, gold sellers and gold buyers.
Would be a beautiful.

As if Blizzard would wanna ban half of their classic subscribers
There are bunch of bots doing LBRS. I farmed a lot of lvl 70 mages running to LBRS on my rogue when I was lvl 50.
Just report the bots and you will be fine. Most people don’t bother/care. But don’t cry that your farms are useless when you see all these blatantly obvious bots out in the world and you’re too lazy/uncaring to right click and report them.
They can start by stripping the cheaters of all their gold and materials and gear and then ban them for 6 months.
You don’t think they should be punished?

You don’t think they should be punished?
I do, but it’s not gonna happen. Almost everyone, that I know in tbc, bought gold on certain websites. I never did, but I’m very sure, that they would have to ban half their subs from classic, and also people, who play retail aswell along with classic, and there is 0 chance, it’s gonna happen. You’re wasting your time thinking about it sadly.
The best punishment for them would be to do a gold reset, and they also don’t wanna do that. They don’t even remove items, gold buyers bought in gdkp, after their 5 days ban.
The only way, I can see it working, would be, if they completely strip a char naked after banning them for 5 days for RMT, so they’re in boosting greens
They knowingly broke ToS, and by definition should be severely punished.
I agree that it’s mainly Blizzards fault for letting this happen. If they don’t fix this WOTLK is doomed.

They don’t even enforce their t.o.s. on retail. Just open group finder. There are like 9 Boosting Groups in LFG for 1 normal group.
Do you think, that they start moderating classic better, if they don’t even moderate their main game?
It’s unlikely, but again it’s not an excuse to break ToS.

Some classes are bad at PvE, some classes are bad at PvP.
You see how your argument fails? Also you talk like RMT is not a thing.

This panic from boosters is hilarious.
Not a boost, never boosted in my life.

Also you talk like RMT is not a thing.
Noone is saying RMT is not a thing, you are making crazy claims that these changes will make more people use RMT, which is blatantly false, telling you so is not denying the existance of RMT.
WotLK is a expansion that focuses on more casual play, gear and consumes are much easier to get, so the need for gold is much less than both Classic and TBC, only in GDKP’s you will keep seeing very high amount of gold being spent, but those should also take a hit in popularity simply because of organizing raids are much less demanding.
Ofc there will be GDKP’s going still, their existance should give blizzard a easy job weeding out the gold buyers if they bothered with that, which they have not so far, which is the real problem. If anything is making people do RMT, its the simple fact that blizzard doesnt care about it. Ban the buyers, and the sellers will dissapear
