Since the Plunderstorm returned to Azeroth, Cap’n Keg Leg has been holding back a fine reward.
As of about 19:00 CET today (January 31), this is now fixed. Players who have accumulated 5,000 Plunder, or players who hereafter earn 5,000 Plunder should check their in-game mail for a message from Keg Leg containing loot.
Oh I got this not knowing what it was and opened it on a character that didn’t need it.
So sent the items to a character that did.
The 2 Green Boxes opened fine. But the Epic Pirate Booty is bugged and didn’t open.
What’s in them?
The green boxes had 2 green items in them.
The Epic box is supposed to have Heroic Raid gear in it.
But it doesn’t seem to open.

went to another toon. they had a “cut of the spoils” mail with an epic “storm singed plunder” that had 2 x kelegs bronze spoils and 1 x silver

On which character are we meant to receive this? I’ve gathered more than 5K at this point but I got nothing in the mail.
Weird. I got the mail and had 3 tokens, one silver and two bronze. I got a 613 neck out of the box bought with the silver token and two pieces of generic green rubbish out of the ones with the bronze tokens.
Yeah… thought it would be another mount😈
I had around 5000 plunder before this went live and did not get the item on any character. Just did a few more rounds of Plunderstorm to get another 5000 and still no mail. Odd.
11500 plunder spent on buying things. No mail of anything on any character.

i had 5k few times but i bought few mounts and weapons other times
bought everything but 1 mount already
had 5000 bought a mount, still no mail either. looks like the hotfix needs a hotfix
checked all 56 chars and i’am capped on plunder and nothing
… I got a Storm-Singed Plunder item and inside were 2x Keg-Leg’s bronze Spoils and 1x Keg-Leg’s Silver Spoils - exchanged them for 2x Green 554 ilvl and 1x 616 hero item 
I have the achievement for 25k and I did get the 3 tokens for 2 items - a L558 something that was useless and a Hero lvl 3 belt.
Hope it appears for the others who’ve earned it. It seems odd the mails weren’t all released at the same time.
Earned the Swabbie Swag achievement earlier today (collect 10k plunder) and didn’t get squat 
I got mine. Not sure what does it depend on who gets it and who does not. I have earned 25k plunder and bought everything I could so far. I opened the mail on a random alt. It offered two greens and a heroic purple. The tokens are account bound, the items are not. Be sure to use it on the character which benefits the most from it. You only get one of this reward per account.
