The thing with the Harrar or isn’t even that I am surprised they are playable cause when they where in the tww trailer and when I first saw them I knew they will be an allied race.
I just expected it in tww not in midnight.
The harrar zone was datamined. So it was probably meant to be there on release, but got pushed to the next expansion.
I think they look neat.
I’d have preferred more character customisation for existing races however.
I’m increasingly convinced that Harandar and the Haranir were just kind of kicked down the road into Midnight, so maybe there’s still hope that something more Elf/Troll themed will spring up

From the little things we have seen from the Amani it looks like many of there places are void corruptet now.
I still believe we will allie them later on and maybe see them as a race.
But I also won’t stop hoping for a season 2 or 3 with a lorderon focus so the forsaken get some love.
We where important for the survival of the blood elves give us some time in the spotlight.
So I don’t know how valuable my predictions are 
I really don’t understand what this is. A new race - a night elf gave birth to a child from a fat troll?

Etherels will not be a thing for long. They have no model they can reskin to make those.
Amani trolls maybe, they have the troll skeleton, but i guess they thought that trolls and zandalari is enough for now.

By name, yes they are not blood elves. Biologically; they’re the same thing.
Saying “Blood Elves are High Elves” is a lot like saying “Canadians are American” “Pakistani are Indian” “Irish are British” “Austrians are Germans” etc.
It’s a crude oversimplification that betrays all kinds of nuance

They historically veered onto different paths and became two distinct cultures. But they are still the same ‘race’.
Just like Canadians and americans (and all the other examples you named) are human.
