gigachad jawlines for female haronir like liandrin in the trailer or i unsub
Blizzard just confirmed in their dev panel that the Blood Elves are High elves who renamed themselves to honor their fallen kin.
if you want the High elves, the Horde is waiting for you.

Arent the shendralar night elves?
They are - technically. As in they were welcomed back into Night Elf society by Tyrande who allowed the Night Elves to practice magic again and yada yada, nerdy lore, and now we have Night Elf Mages.
So that lore is there, but there isn’t a model tied to it. You’re playing a Night Elf Mage looking like any other Night Elf Mage.
I think Blizzard have tried to satisfy the High Elf desire by allowing for that kind of customization for Blood Elves and Void Elves, but I don’t think – and that seems evident by the feedback – it meets the expectation. It’s like wishing for a PlayStation 5 and then getting a Chinese knockoff called GameStation 5. It’s not really the same, even if it tries to be.
That is the female Orc body all over
Mate, you’re playing a human. Stormwind is waiting for you!
We already have 3 dwarf races. We don’t need another elf race.
What is with this unhealthy “elite” elf obsession that has been taking place for the last two expansion?
As someone who has been on the forums since (where my memory serves me) WotLK I’ve never seen them being mentioned this often.
I agree.
It’s time we had more fluffy races instead.
all these Haranir customizations should have been “spread” to Night Elves, Nightborne and Darkspear/Zandalari Troll races, these are the ones that desperately need it.
I second this!
Furbolg when?!
Yes! I want my Tuskarr.
They have been a faction since WOTLK for goodness sake. We spent loads of time with them in DF, surely they deserve to be playable?
I know Blizzard only like to do new races if they can just lazily reskin an old one so I have a compromise…
just shrink a Pandaren slightly and base it on that, call it a subrace of Tuskarr.
I’ll happily accept that!
They became BElfs… since WC3… ![]()
Either way. You want MORE elves? We got 4 races of Elves already. Common… PLEASE… have some creativity here…
You mean allied with the 7th Legion, Silver Convenant, Alliance capitals, yes they are where they should be.
So your statement is wrong.
Horde has the 99% of the 1% remaining high elven race, who refer to themselves as Blood Elves in respect of their fallen kin and their new way of drawing upon magic. The 1% remaining high elves, always kept their name and stayed with Alliance most of the time, lore wise. As they haven’t forgotten or forgiven the orcs and trolls for what they did to their kin.
But that’s just lore, clearly not relevant for someone as yourself it seems ![]()
thats what all think when blizzard cater towards the 1% matters club.
You are on about the Draenei and Blood elves I assume?
(Yes Hi again, it’s me).
Blood Elves and Draenei are present in vanilla, prior to TBC, not really in a form of actual npc’s, but more like target mobs, hostile ones. I believe Draenei however were friendly and gave quests. Blood elves were often related to cults. High elves in vanilla were also a thing, but they were friendly NPC’s, mostly to Alliance specifically.
No Vrykul, Arrakoa, Saberon, Furbolgs, Amani Trolls, Forest Trolls, nothing…
