A new race, is this a joke?!

Yeah the avatar troll/elf mutants was not what I hoped for…

Play a blood elf or continue with your void elf which is the same

Another new race I will never play :dracthyr_a1:

They are tmog friendly, which can’t be said for most of the Horde races. I will race change warrior to Harronir.

Today is a disaster for high elf believers who had it coming for over a decade by refusing to understand what blood elves are

You are already playing one high elve. They wont be giving you a 3rd thalassian elf

Aren’t Blood Elves and Void Elves basically High Elves? Personally I’m neutral on the upcoming race, even though I was expecting we’d get Ethereals as a next playable race.

I don’t like those troll elves myself but people asked for them and what exactly is there to gain if they made high elves there own race?
You can already play a high elve on either side they simply don’t call themselves high elves.

So what you say you rather want the exact same race we already have twice again so you can have a specific name for them.
That’s simply stupid and a bit entitled

Edit.
The only thing I could see them doing I’m regards to high elves is that blizz is simply rebranding both void and blood elves into high elves at the end of season 1 when we survived the first wave of void together and then both sides can freely use all blood and void elve customisations

High elves exist since TBC

They are called blood elves.

What people really mean is they want more Cute races with feminine sexy models in game.

Preferably with stuff like bust customization options like in FF14 .

Its not really a Rocket science.

Instead we get … This …

We really have enough elves in this game already.

We could have ogres, high elves, half-orcs (like rexxar), gnolls, naga, etc. but we get some new made up race that was never before seen on azeroth in a totally made up place on azeroth. Why not something with Tel Abim? Why not races and places that were in the lore but never shown ingame.

Why can’t new authors cherrish the old game and work with what they have instead to push their new stuff into it.

While yes getting high elves wouldn’t even be getting a new nice race it would be getting the same race again again with a new sticker.

All the fuzz about high elves is pretty simple.

It’s alliance players that since tbc are kinda salty that the horde got blood elves in the first place and now they specifically want high elves for the Titel “high” so they can sit down and proclaim to be the best elves cause there Titel says so

To be fair the most fitting allied race for this expansion would be ethereals.

But instead we got … Them/they

(Did i use correct pronouns ? Trying hard to make up for my sins  )

Now I know how it felt to be a Diablo fan during the Diablo Immortal announcement.

Granted, some people find the Haranir interesting, and I’m happy for them, but they don’t fit the theme of this expansion, and had very little interaction with the player aside from Azj-Kahet

I am really really not the kind of guy to get happy when others get angry I just had this talk with my wife when people where super mean to the players who where sad we didn’t get the viod DH with the karesh patch.

But the amount of smugness and “you gonna see we get high elves” the way those high elve fanatics where all “we gonna get the elves and the city and everything we want and the horde gets a turd”
It kinda makes me smile now

Yeh, it’s a pretty disappointing addition, they definitely could have done better. But they do kind of look cool.

Would have much preferred Ethereals.

Very kind of you, and indeed void DH makes more sense, than standalone, uncorrupted alliance high elves.
