Just to clerify. im not oposed to world pvp or pvp in general.
But when you kill oposing faction players with no gain, other than sabotaging their gameplay you are not doing pvp. You are just being a moron.
So please add the option to your repport system, so we can repport these level 60 moron in full pvp gear kill low levels.
First ban = a month.
Second ban. Perma.

This is why people want PvP servers tho.

yeah maybe, but back in og classic and tbc. you would get dishonorble kill for that practice. now there is no penalty for doing it. and thats the problem im adressing.

Most PvPers think that’s a good idea (just read the comments on there), level 60’s killing level 30’s hundreds if not thousands of times.
This is what a PvP server is.
Don’t put your head in the sand and ignore the real reason people pick PvP server.
Personally i would never choose PvP server as i dislike those guys and the way they harass other for “fun”

it is only for Harassers and abusers.
If you don’t like PvP, play on PvE server.
It’s good feedback, if you’d remove some insults within it imo.
From the olden days it was never really upheld unless it either impacted realm operations or denied access to zones for very long times. We’re not talking about a couple hours from 1 guy but really organised zone defenses/invasions totally blockading something around the clock.
While those were kinda epic it was also kinda very annoying.
See this is where you made your mistake in terms. It is, in fact, PvP.
So, in theory I am not doing PvP. I am queueing AB / WSG with 2friends, even though I have 75k honor and 100 marks in all battlegrounds, I am in full naxx gear and dont need any welfare rank 14 gear.
I get no kill message anymore ”Honorable Kill” on screen or chat, because I am honor capped. I am not doing PvP by your reasoning, because I get nothing from doing BGs or open world PvP for being honor capped.
The baseline problem with all these takes is very simple.
PvP is inherently unfair.
There is no such thing as “honourable” battles between consenting parties. It might happen sometimes, but thats a tiny minority of all these battles. You take every advantage you can get, be it higher level, more gear or even just lower life.
The fun of a PvP server is when you meet someone your level and can have a proper fight. Nothing feels more satisfying than beating someone 2-3 levels above you, or winning an unfair fight in general.
Level 60s ganking 50s and below is just incredibly stupid, but I avoid that problem by having 2 accounts and having my main somewhere nearby. They will be the ones ressing at the graveyard in the end
Sounds like pvp servers arent for you, mate. Perhaps you should try the pve server instead…
