A plea to Blizzard : Please bring back the green fire visuals for the Soul Shards

Or Warlocks actually dont have that kind of need to corrupt the energy source, do additional useless job on the drained souls. Cause they are Lazy and Efficient Enslavers of demons and not 3 y.o. with a green marker.

But we imbue them with fel energies when we cast spells that require fel energies.

Quite frankly, the reason and the answer to this post even, lies not in the lore but in the gameplay. In mop each lock class had different resources, affly had souls and destro had ember (demo i dont remember). Now all specs have the same resources and why is that? to make the gameplay easier obviously and have the player go through the hassle of adjusting to something new each time he tries a new spec. So as far as I’m concerned lorewise I’m still using Burning embers, but from a gameplay point of view it has been switched to soul shards.

I politely invite you to watch class skins video in the thread I made, where certain YouTuber actually suggests the solution to your plea.

I am suprised too see so many defend blizzard lazyness. Reminds me of wanting to get floating shards so everone could see how many shards i have active at any time(also good for roleplay). Only to discover others cant see the floating shards. It makes me wonder how much we dont see of our fellow players. Blizzard has really gotten lazy.

That has been my thought during this whole tread. No one ever sides with the community ever. Everyone always has to go against you no matter what and defend Blizzard. And it’s so frustrating.

Sorry for thinking it plainly made sense design wise. I didn’t know I was a proud Blizzard defender because of it.

Well of course it made sense for them. Less stuff to deal with for players = easier classes. And that seems to be the spirit this xpac.
