i got a cool idea that could give more info to the mage whether you alter timed high or low!
sometimes, as a mage, you would alter time without paying attention to your current hp. at times, this would result you altering back to hp lower, thus getting punished for it.
what if blizzard made it that:
1- if you altertime, and lose health, your alter time would be green coloured, meaning that you would gain hp if you alter back (currently blue which makes no sense to me).
2- the other scenario is if you alter time and get healed during alter, it would go red, meaning that you would lose hp if you alter back. so in this case you would have to /cancelaura macro for alter time
its not a game breaking quality of life improvement
if you played mop, mage alter time (spell icon) did not change in colour
the current alter time spel icon goes blue when you press (makes 0 sense)
why not make it green or red? or the visual effect on you change colour? how is that going to be bad or game changing? just a quality improvement visuals.
if you have something good to suggest say it, dont be that guy “oh you should pay attention”… OKAY DUDE
i did NOT say i should not pay attention, i just said its an improvement for more info for the mage since he has to multi task and focus on 10 other things
It’s just one of those things that should be in the default UI but isn’t. I’d say Blizzard is pretty comfortable with addons providing that extra quality of life improvements.
So while i agree it could be good, especially for new players, i doubt Blizzard will do anything about it.
blizzard has been making an excellent job at listening to the community after bfa. i have posted weeks ago avout possible mage nerfs, and they did apply some of stuff i posted.
