I ve been wondering about the skip quest in the Nighthold. Do i have to complete the quest in all modes in order to have the skip for all ot them or just for example if i do it on mythic mode , you get hc and nm automatically open.

Seperate for all difficulties.
Completion of a skip quest will give you the skip on the mode you did it on and every mode below it.
So Mythic mode unlocks all.
It did not for me when i wanted to farm the green mount per week i had to open all 3 as each one had there own quest.
Just because the quest is there doesn’t mean the door won’t open.
I only ever do the mythic quest and I have access to all skips. Never had an issue with it.
This appears to be the true answer. I was on my way to Nighhold so just tested this. Having only ever done the skip quest on Mythic myself i was still able to skip on Normal and Heroic too. The quest doesn’t even show up in the lower modes.
It does as i need 1 more for 4/4 normal.
No idea why it does not work for you. If you have done it at higher level you should be able to just go to the door and it will open on normal. I’ve only ever done Mythic quest, never even picked up the others but was just able to skip in all three modes just now and do the last two bosses in each mode.
Looking at WoWHead, it also confirms this:
If you do this quest on higher difficulty skip will be available on lower difficulties, and respective quests will not be available from quest givers.
Mythic is all I have ever needed to get skips for lower modes.
Is it possible that having the quest for a lower mode actually disables the skip until you complete the quest? Sounds crazy, but I can’t think of another explanation.
I did wonder if that was maybe the problem too…
It was because i did them in order normal/her/mythic so thankyou
