A quick Question

I’m not sure why you won’t do the only solution you can, open a ticket. The subject doesn’t have to be exactly right.

I do think it’s exactly the same as the last one, how to complain. Tickets are similar to an email.

Edit: I could quote a lot of your posts from that thread saying what you want, but I won’t.

What you think it is about doesn’t matter.

What I need to do to get my Issue heard by the right people. I don’t believe putting an in-game Ticket in is the best solution on this occasion.

However, I realise from talking to people in this thread that I may just need to walk away disappointed and unhappy having had a negative experience.

If there is a better way to reach customer support, then I would love to hear about it. Otherwise, lets leave this thread to die. I’m fed up and ready to move.

You won’t accept it’s the only way, believe me, I’ve looked for other ways and the only thing I can find is the hacks email and they won’t accept anything about complaints through that, I tried.

The ticket system worked for me when I complained.

The hacks email don’t even respond when you report a Hack (with Screen shots and everything). Not even a thank you.

I appreciate the ticket system worked for you. However it’s not going to work for me.

If I have to walk away disappointed and unhappy having had a negative experience, then I will. It’s just another black mark against my favourite game.

There used to be, but it (and the phone lines) were continually abused by people using them to bypass front-line support, and get “help” with issues that the GM’s weren’t actually able / allowed to help with.

So they were nixed.

Well I’m assuming this was sometime ago. Because back in the day a ticket didn’t have a 4-5 day wait time.

Sometimes you might have needed to wait over night, but most tickets were resolved satisfactorily within a few hours.

Although I do remember hearing about people calling up to fix a bug in an instance. Which I understand they don’t really want to be receiving.

That must have been many years ago, over 10 at least, since then they streamlined it to tickets only and the occasional callback, the hack email is like suggestions and bugs ingame, you don’t get a reply when you make them.

But if you are not willing to make a ticket then I’ll leave it there.

This was back when tickets were addressed in literal hours, instead of days, yes. I won’t say resolved, because sometimes the GM’s just weren’t allowed to help.

I only had to use the email address once, and this was during WotLK expansion, when Isle of Conquest bugged out on me. I got stuck in a dead instance, and all attempts to port out failed, a GM failed to summon me out of it. After 7hrs of this, I sent an email. Less than 20 minutes later, something weird happened to my character, I saw a huge briefg white box, and suddenly I reappeared in Stormwind Harbour.

I believe a Developer actually interceeded on my behalf on that occasion, as a result of the email. Though I will never know for certain.

I remember running Mechana heroic and the Gates at the Lift didn’t open up, and we sat there for 2 hours waiting for a GM to answer our ticket, and I remember we were on Vent just talking about giving up, when a GM appeared and opened the gates for us and saved the day.

It’s just such a shame that issues like this just don’t get fixed anymore… really spoils the experience of the game.
