Considering it has been there since 9.1, intentionally, I highly doubt that.

There needs to be a tip sharing discord or something, as most fun stuff ends up nerfed when posted on the forum 
Torghast doesnât seem to work too well after 50ish. 40-50 is best done via layer 9,nit sure about 60 and above tho
for soul ash and cinders definitely layer 8s and 9s
never know you can get lucky and get another covenant specific table npc to rescue
or croman and meatball
Btw if you need to level up a New Alt from 50:
- Go buy Renown 40
- Do all the bonus objective
- Do aid covenant X quest
I am level 54 with Renown 53 already.

I point this our else where, the hand in for the zone quests gave me three a piece as well (Threads of Fate) . I was 69 on hitting 60 (did one Torghast daily as well ) Throw in a few dungeons and you could be almost 80 on hitting 60. I got a few for the intro quests on hitting 60 as well.
A bonus objective seems 100% done all 16 on one character and 9 on another, renown each and every time.

I mean ToF âAid Questâ completed around renown 55ish rewarded me only with 1 Renown.
While early ones gave me 3. All bonus objective gave me renown as well.
Also not really any sense in reaching 80 renown before 60 anyway, as soon as you ding you have 3x callings, 2 WB, Korthia + Assault. Being around 70 is enough imo
Said it many times but I just donât understand the dislike to it. But we are all different. I really enjoy it on a number of classes. It is good we have a variety of methods and activities out there.
I got 3 each time for doing them on my most recent character. As I said bought 40, 16 from bonus quests, 4*3 for ToF quests and one from Torghast daily/weekly (idk which it is). 69 @60
but yes I got several more just from the welcome to covenant quests and did the callings, world bosses and an a few âcomp stompsâ now at 80 in with less than 3 hours played at 60.
It is lovely and quick now.
I think it should? Not 100% sure since mine is already capped, but I donât see a reason why it wouldnât. :o

Have you tried in recently. I really donât get your hate for it, it is some of the best solo content they have mad, infinitely better than visions.
Yes, it does. For a 187 point run I did, I received 13 tower knowledge. Not much, not even a five star run will award much, but itâs a start. Youâll be able to unlock a perk or two by the time you hit 60 if you do a daily Torghast wing.
Mind you, the box is not account wide, itâs character-bound. So doing Torghast while leveling your alt wonât make a difference on your main as far as the box is concerned.
This is great. The brawl is useless after a certain point, it just stops giving renown.
No it doesnât just got 79 and 80 on a alt. It think there might be a cap on how many you can get in a time frame though, I a lot people suggesting that after 10 (maybe 12) you are unlikely to get any more.
That has been noticed about renown in general though, it is good to mix it up.
For the record, I got to renown 79 with 3 different covenants doing pretty much nothing but comp stomp.
On my shaman, I had Kyrian at 80, Venthyr at 71 and Necrolord at 40 when the patch hit. I grinded Venthyr up to 79 in comp stomp and comp stomp alone. I then grinded Necrolord up to 80 mostly in comp stomp: I did two weeklies (replenish the reservoir & saving souls) and a single calling, the rest were comp stomp. For Venthyr and Necrolord both, I had the full 9.0 campaign completed on that character before 9.1.5 hit.
For night fae, I havenât done anything before the patch. I boosted myself to Renown 40, comp stomped my way to 60, then figured Iâll do the campaign to get 16 renown, 2 per chapter. Turned out I only get one renown per chapter at that level, so I only did a single chapter. Did the two weeklies, a world boss, and two callings, and comp stomped my way to 79.
For all three covenants, I went 78->79 in comp stomp. Mind you, it wonât let me go 79->80 on my two remaining covenants. The renown Orb tooltip says that weeklies and the campaign will get me there. I donât have any weeklies or campaign left on Venthyr, and Iâm not doing the campaign on Fae, so Iâll just wait a week.
Itâs random, I found. I got to 80/80/79/79 yesterday, primarily in comp stomp (see above). For some of the covenants, I comp stomped for 30+ renown straight, and it never stopped. It had its ups and downs, there were times when I didnât get a single renown in 10 games, then I got 6 in a row the next 6 games.

Thatâs what I meant. I stopped getting at 49 on my Shaman, my mage is still getting at around 67. So thereâs definitely a cap of how many you can get, whether thatâs a certain timeframe, nobody knows đ¤ˇ
I just want to get my other convenants to 80 on my main though so itâs perfect!
